I'm not particularly keen on that as a storyline idea, but it seems quite likely.

Equally, what they decide to do with Kate will be make or break. Why does every gay character on the Street have to be defined by their sexuality? Why do all of their storylines revolve around romantic relationships? I sincerely hope that they keep Kate away from the vacuum of sorrow that is Sophie.”

Completely agree boogie woogie, I applaud Corrie for bringing in Kate as an already openly gay character who is comfortable with her sexuality and has a fully accepting family. Now please dont have her get with Sophie just because she is the only other lesbian on the show and Kate hasnt slept with another character yet. (See Also: Jenna Kamara).

I know that this seems rather inevitable, but my God it's so bloody predictable!

Jenna and Sophie was just an awful idea from start to finish. They had zero chemistry and completely unrealistic as a couple. They were that memorable together I can't remember the details of their split. Sophie only ever worked with Sian, and even at that they were pretty damn annoying in their final few months together.
