I liking the new Xtra Factor weekly slot all the behind the scenes action and the gossip coming up the weekend. I still wish Xtra Factor still on Saturday night after the show because we won't get what people thought on each performance and who could be in danger the following night. Let me know your thoughts on The Xtra Factor.

I really enjoyed it! Great addition having a behind the scenes element to the show.

Xtra Factor used to have a midweek show years ago. I like it; it works well. It's good to see a preview of what's to come.

I think it's better not having the Sat show with who's in danger type comments, because I think that influenced the outcome too much. People (mainly teenies) start voting like crazy for an act because they're led to believe the act could be in danger of going... just leads to false voting.

I liked it too. Judges segment was really relaxed and funny, and it's nice to get an insight into some of the behind-the-scenes stuff.

I missed it didn't know it was a new xtra factor show thought it was a repeat

It makes far more sense. After the first part of Saturday's show, the rest was filler as they had absolutely nothing. We'd seen all the performances and songs by that point so no need to preview songs, themes, etc. and with no results until the next night there was very little to talk about.

I remember when Pop Idol did this called Pop Idol Extra Hosted by Kate Thornton when they use to talk to vocal coaches David & Carrie Grant & watch Practice

Fame Academy had the same on CBBC. It works better than the filler Saturday show.

Also want to mention that Rochelle was really good live. She could host the show by herself.

Yeah if you check on to guide there is only a Thursday X tea factor and a Sunday night one after the show so they have got rid of the Saturday show which I think is good since the X factor is on till 10.30

I like the midweek show it reminds me of the old days.
