I too have noticed that she is quite bowlegged and it really makes her quite stompy. Craig did make a comment a week or so ago about keeping her legs together but I don't think she physically can, and of course it's not a nice thing to say to a woman so no-one has mentioned it since.”
It's not blocked for me (just now checked again) but I'm in the US. If you do a search on Youtube for Strictly Come Dancing 2015 Launch Show - there's at least one more version other than the one I linked to - maybe more - that might not be blocked to you.
But I played it through tonight and heard it again.
You can tell she's severely bow-legged even in her ballroom gowns because they cruelly dress her in cropped dresses - you can see her legs start to splay out even at the ankles - I don't think I've ever seen anyone as bandy legged as she is. And it's anatomical so I don't think she could really bring her legs together the way you need to in ballroom, and I wonder if she can really even straighten them properly for cha cha, rumba, etc. I doubt it.
Nothing wrong with that - she's a beautiful woman, her legs are still shapely and look great and I'm sure she gets around just fine - and even dances ok but can't necessarily do all the perfecting of leg/foot action that's required for ballroom/Latin to be just right, due to the shape of her bones. And it may make fixing the flat-footed stomping impossible too, like you say.
