I think in white the girls were Natalie at the back Janette in the middle as the rook in the longer dress and Aliona at the front as the knight. I think Oti was at the front same knight costume as Aliona but in black, Kristina as the rook in black but I don't know who the other girl was as didn't get a good look. That means either Joanne or Karen weren't in that dance, I think the only guy not in was Anton. The red King and queen were Ola and pasha

I wish they'd put the video up.

Yaaaaay! It was Joanne who I thought was Natalie so I'm back to being confused.

She posted a pic of herself.

I don't remember hearing the Bit in Bold.

I've found a number of clips on youtube - which seem to cover the chats with Jamelia about partners. The BiB doesn't come up.

It's not the first time I've heard a story on here - about Jamelia or other celebs - which isn't backed up by the information available elsewhere on the internet.
I too searched and searched but couldn't find anywhere where she said something re-partner she didn't want to be with. Pure fabrication to mischief make on someone's part. One mischief maker spreads something and others follow like sheep.

Excuse me, I posted a post further down the thread a bout the opening night. I know what I heard, so do the other people who watched it. If telling the truth is mischief making, then I'm guilty as far as you are concerned am I?
The audience didn't like her response and I didn't make that up either.

I heard her say something about 'knowing who she didn't want' & the boos from the audience when she said it as well.....we can't all be hearing things chick

Please consider the fact that anything on iplayer / BBC YouTube page is edited, so it could have easily been edited out

I heard her say she knew who she didn't want. I assumed she meant Anton as it's usually a sign that the producers don't see you as a serious contestant. A bit tactless of her to say out loud and I did wonder if some would use it as a stick to beat her with. I think she's ok myself. And her Charleston was great imo. A shame she keeps ending up in the dance off as I think it will knock her confidence.

I heard her say it too! I immediately said "Oops, she hasn't done herself any good from the get go." So no mischief maker on here.

I do also remember her saying it and I thought eek along with when Helen said I'm so surprised I thought I'd be getting Anton.

I think in both cases though they just blurted out what was on their minds.

As if for even a nano second any of us don't believe that every celeb and pro knows exactly who they do and don't want.

I'm not really bothered if under the pressure they speak without thinking.

Thanks for the link JR. and thanks all for your replies. Watched the clip a couple of times and beginning to put faces to the dancers.

Thank you, it was saying exactly that," knowing who she didn't want" As soon as she spoke those words, I knew it would go against her when it got down to the public votes.
You make my Saturday nights by the way, can't go to sleep until "I know"
Roll on Saturday

If I recall correctly after saying that - Claudia I believe - asked if we would know (or would be able to tell) if she liked the pro she got and Jamelia very emphatically said 'You'll know'! Claudia also asked when she was smiling at getting Tristan if that was her genuinely pleased face and she said it was.
Personally I don't have a problem with people being 'up front' and honest when asked for their opinion but it does have to be tempered with diplomacy too, something she hasn't quite learned yet I think. The pros have feelings too so if she had shown her displeasure at getting one she didn't want that would have been very offensive. The pros too must have their preferences but put on the happy face regardless. It isn't being hypocritical just polite, no need to hurt some ones feelings. The 'Oh I tell it like it is' attitude is fine but take other peoples feelings into consideration just as you would want them to consider yours, particularly when working in the media industry - too many ways for your words to come back and bite you on the bum - as Jamelia may be finding.
I have no problem with her on Strictly so far though, just disappointed she isn't proving to be as good as I had expected from that first group dance. I am positive she could do better than she is doing but dosn't seem 100% committed to the dance.

I don't think Aliona has quite mastered that art yet.

I heard it too, MrsDaisy, and immediately thought she'd already alienated some of the voting public. You're not known on here for making mischief, and you certainly aren't now. AGM is absolutely right, anything on iPlayer is edited to suit the BBC.

The Spoiler thread is still page 1 on a Tuesday?! Ye Gods!

I voted her, because I like her more than any of the other celebrities. What's the problem with that?
i have no problem with that. She is loving her Strictly journey, unlike Jamelia and Kirsty. I often feel they should have a side competition for the non dancers and also if there us any crap music selections..and boy, has there been loads this year..they should give them to the Kellys, Jays and Helens, and then it would be some sort of handicapping system!
