I have been seeing lots of people say Shabnam is boring but IMO she isn't boring she had a stillbirth she is not going to be smiling all the time and jumping up and down all the time is she? Stacey and Shabnam friendship is good maybe its just Kush and Martin dragging both women down. These Stacey and Shabnam scenes are good:

I have seen a lot of 'StaRtin' around. You get some people who want her to be with Kush and others want her to be with Martin. I want her to be with Martin. He's safe and he's funny and I think he'll make her happy."

"I don't think she ever meant to do that to her best friend. I think that just happened through too much wine. Even if she did want to go there [before], she doesn't want to again.

Lacey knows her character so well and Lacey wants Stacey and Martin to work. Stacey wasn't into Bradley at first and she didn't treat him well sometimes and he didn't treat Stacey well sometimes. Bradley was boring as well sometimes but Lacey and Charlie had great chemistry. I wish that Bradley didn't die and that Lily could have been Bradley's.

I know Martin can be boring but its nice having a Fowler on the Square and Martin can be a good character he was back in the day and can be again I liked Martin in this storyline:

I know Kush can be boring as well but Davood is such a good actor.

So IMO I think its just the writing that makes a character boring and a storyline.

Martin, Kush and Shabnam suck the life out of Stacey. She's boring and dull with them. I can't wait for Max's return next year and I'd rather Max and Stacey together.

Shabnam and Stacey aren't too boring when its just the two of them. Did you like the Stacey and Shabnam scenes at the start of the year? Don't you like Shabnam?

Martin's a boring arsehole. There's no getting away from that. That's fine, though, as every neighbourhood has a few like him, and it's realistic that he's there. Shabnam makes Kush so lifeless, and he's terrible with her. I just can't see Kush going for someone like Shabnam because they're completely incompatible, not to mention the religious divide that's never been addressed.

I've seen lot of comments recently about this foursome been boring and dull but personally I am still interested in them. I think Shabnam and Kush are a nice couple and the Stillbirth SL was excellently written, acted and portrayed from all involved. Its good that they are exploring the lasting effect it has on them I think but I would like to see them just have a happy wedding. I agree that Stacey and Martin may be slightly mismatched but I like the friendships of Stacey and Shabs and Martin and Kush. I hope Stacey's baby is Martin's because I dont want another whos the daddy SL that could destroy these relationships.

I want Shabnam to be able to smack Stacey once. Whatever Lacey thinks, Stacey was after Kush and did all she could to get him to leave Shabnam for her. I don't particularly like either man, I think Sracey and Shabs are far more interesting than the guys.

I agree with this, Stacey's spark comes back when she's with Max. I'm hoping he turns out to be her baby's Dad.
