I don't think a Pete/Chrissie pairing would be beneficial for either character. I would like Chrissie to set her sights on someone like Nikhil.

Pete / Christie wouldn't work. Doesn't mean they won't attempt it of course. Chrissie and Rakesh. Rakesh is devious underhand and teamed up with Christie they would make good couple at big house. He's wasted at moment.

What about Pete and Pryia? Those two could work, they might not be the most exciting couple though.

I quite liked Pete and Vanessa when they had a flirtation. But they seem determined to put Vanessa with her schoolboy babydaddy, so I think that moment has passed.

Tbh, I'm soooooooo sick of Pete now, after this pig of a storyline. I really just want him and Ross off my screen for the forseeable. I can't get interested in him with anybody really. I really hope they're not going to go there with Aunty Moira though, that would be gross. A lot of hugging's gone on recently.

Maybe he should remain single.

I don't think Pete and Ross are going anywhere for the forseeable. Ross may leave soon as he tries to break into movies but I expect he'll be back shortly afterwards. If Pete/Moira happens, I think I'll be sick and switch off for good, once Nikhil leaves.

You know, I absolutely convinced myself that Pete would die in the helicopter crash. It just seemed like such an ace idea, a big high profile death (but not the from the A cast), with loads of repercussions for other people, and so ironic, just after finding out Debbie had been treating him like a fool. It might actually have led to Debbie feeling responsible for once in her selfish little life, Ross and James feeling guilty, Emma losing it and going on the rampage ....

But alas, I was wrong. I'm always wrong! And I agree we're stuck with Pete for the duration. He's never been a very good character really. Antony Quinlan seems a really nice guy, but he's a terrible actor. All that heavy breathing and squinting and roaring. Jesus, it does my head in.
