Should The Scoring System Be Changed?

It's a TV entertainment show.

The scoring system has to suit that.

It's not a dance competition.

The producers want a scoring system that suits them.

They've got it.

The real disaster that year was failing to hold over a week so there would be a 3 couple final. As soon as John Sergeant withdrew from the competition they should have dropped the elimination for that week.

I would have much preferred John Sergeant to have gone all the way than to have withdrawn early that year.
