Kirsty I thought she was going to be good, never had her down as a winner but thought at least she would bring the old Brenda back but it wasn't to be he is as sulky as he was last year.

I think Jamelia has been quite gracious. I thought she would be a much better dancer though.

Helen hasn't really impressed me, even in her Ballroom dances.

for me i expected more from Jamelia and Peter Andre.

from Peter, i find his dancing okay, but not standout, for example his Rumba had the perfect song Thinking Out Loud, i did find it stompy like the Tango and the Paso.

from Jamelia, i was expecting her to be as good like Pixie, but she's sloppy and her giggling is annoying, her crying last week was a deja vu feeling for me, as if i was watching Bear Grylls all over again.

Peter is holding back he has yet to show us his standout bits.

I didn't watch that programme, but I think her tears seem genuine - she's just very emotional.

Giovanni. I had high hopes as I had heard that Jo had partnered him in various shows and dance weekends, etc, but I'm really disappointed in his Ballroom. Clearly he is not a Ballroom specialist as I thought he perhaps would be. Good at creating effect and drama, but no technique to back it up.

he's Latin European Champion.

Just Like Anton isn't a Latin dancer.

Yes had to look him up as hadn't heard of him before, but as a Ballroom dancer, I was really looking to forward to seeing what he could do,Ballroom wise. Its not as though they don't have enough Latin dancers on the show as it is

May I ask where did you get the Latin European Champion information.? The highest achievement I can find for him is Italian Champion 2012. That's from the SCD website otherwise searches for him haven't produced much provenance in Latin or Ballroom

same for me - competent and clearly able, but somehow very forgettable... needs a wow dance or she will quickly be lost. giovani being new might not help.

Yes, something like a really lively, well executed Charleston could get her in the mix.

If you had asked me after Week 2, I would have definitely said Jamelia. I was expecting her to be good at Ballroom and brilliant at Latin, but her Waltz was just decent and her Cha Cha was technically poor. However, ever since then, she's improved far more than I was expecting her to, and I'm really enjoying her dancing now.

If you asked me now... I guess Ainsley, even though he's already out, because I found him quite underwhelming on the entertainment front, which was where I thought he'd thrive, and his technique really wasn't good in most of his dances. His Salsa is the exception to both of those however, and is still one of my favourite dances this series.

As for the others, I was expecting Georgia to be better at Ballroom than she is, Katie to be better at Latin than she is (not much better, but still), and both Kirsty and Peter to be better dancers overall than they are.

well Georgia is improving, so hopefully we'll see her heel lead, she has trained on that this week.

Peter - I thought he'd be better than he is.

Carol - has done a Chris Hollins on me. I liked her before SCD and can't bare her now.

Thought anita.would be my favourite at the beginning in terms of personality but she jist comes across a bit over confident and competitive now. Thought peter would be a better dancer and jamelia

Gleb- I'm feeling a moody, exotic, rule-breaking diva hole since Artem left and was rather hoping Gleb might step in. Bit of a charisma-free zone for me.

I wish they'd kept Trent- not a diva, but a fabulously nonchalant rule-breaker.

What a brilliantly accurate description of Trent!

I don't think she's bland, I actually like her and Giovanni a lot. I can see why some would think she's flying under the radar a little though and a stand out dance would help that.

Most of the male celebs (not unlike the last couple of years), particularly Anthony, who should have left it until another year.

Jay and admittedly Peter, are the only ones who are any good.

Jay. Excellent jive, but all other dances have been very mediocre.
