EE: the transgender character is a figment of Stacey's imagination?
She's off her meds, right? She notices him, and then the next second he's gone. I get the feeling he's just part of her imagination and she's slowly losing her mind.

That would be great, a new character announced long in advance and expected to be permanent is just a manifestation of Stacey's mind. A big shock too.
I hope this happens!

I'm surprised no one else has suspected this yet. No one seems to have seen him except Stacey and we know Stacey befriends him but nothing has been mentioned about him interacting with other characters yet.

She is not losing her mind She will remember the key and will go on an adventure around Walford using it on every house to see which door it will open

When Sally was a little girl she used to talk about her friend Milo who nobody else could see. It wasn't until she was an adult that she found out that she had a brother called Milo who was separated from her when they were both young children,

Would be great to see EE tackle psychosis, but they're not in the right sort of position (for lack of a better word?) at the moment. This kind of storyline would need a certain level of maturity which the show has lacked for over half a decade.

I think you could be right, shes off her antipsychotics for bipolar and her symptoms are returning big time, hallucinations happen to people with bipolar when there not on meds to control the disorder.

Would be a good twist, anyone remember Newt off HO in a similar plot.

What...the bloody hell. ![]() The reveal, 15 years later, that sally's imaginery childhood friend Milko, was actually a manifestation of her twin brother who she'd pushed into her subconscious after they were split up. Hollyoaks did it as well with Rae. Newt imagined her for weeks, then met a girl that looked identical to her and was real. Prior to that, his friend Eli was revealed to be a manifestation of his schizophrenia. Eli is an anagram of Lie you see. |

For all this, i think Stacey might suspect that she is hallucinating him but he will turn out to be real.

Stacey couldn't see him when he left the room and revealed his key to the audience. I think that rules this out.
