Agreed.

Also, once again the forum seems to be out of touch with social media. Most the comments on Facebook and Twitter have been positive, and on here negative. It's the same when a lot of people on Twitter and Facebook are saying negative things about the show, the reaction on here is usually positive.

Even Ian Hyland has said best episode since live.

I think I'm in the current complaining camp because we are frustrated with how great EastEnders COULD/CAN/HAS been but it generally fails in its execution.

I reckon there are just too many on the forum that think they are somehow special or clever when they know the plots in advance... by reading spoilers. Aye, right... reading makes you special!

It was alright to be fair, I just find it unbelievable that the Mitchell family are being run scared by a fragile old man with what looks like a wig, you could very likely blow him over.

It was a good episode but it doesn't make up for the fact that EE has clear issues that are being ignored, I do hope it can turn a corner.

I thought tonight was good...there was plenty going on, and I even quite liked Martin.

Terence Stamp would have made a bloody good Gavin - see The Limey for references.

But Paul can make the character his own - after all the invincible Philth is only a small aging potato far slower than a snail on mogadon.

And he can still (apparently) beat up people like Vincent.

Gavin is a psychopath and Phil is weaker at the moment as Gavin got his heavies to torture him.

Don't diss Gavin. That ferret he keeps on his head is one nasty bastard.

This. Could they not have got someone more Archie-like? Larry Lamb would've done so much with the role of Gavin.

Gavin's about as convincing as a baddy as Wooden Carter jnr is convincing as...well, anything, really.

Love and hate are two parts of the same emotion. It is when people stop caring that they stop watching.

:

Has it definitely been established it's a wig? His hair is so distracting I sometimes miss what he's saying and have to rewind. I'm thinking Barbara Windsor and he have much in common.

(Totally off topic, I absolutely hate typing on iPad, their autocorrect is so bl**dy annoying - I needed to say that at 3am)
