To be fair she has been 'dead' for the past ten years. Guess that makes it kinda hard to get an upgrade.
One or two people do. They just make sure that every character has a different phone so none are shown more prominently than others. Though it does sometimes it does seem odd that certain people have really old phones when it'd more realistic that they'd have a more up to date one.
It's a good point. When you look around it seems like 50%+ of people have iPhones, yet in soap land the only one I've seen is Linda Carters the other day.
