I wouldn't mind seeing Erin or Karen Hardy become a judge if a seat becomes vacant on the panel. Len preferably being the vacant seat, although I get the vibe they'd shove Anton into the judges chair should Len retire.

Personally, I like Darcy. The others seem more interested in self-promotion (especially Bruno) than in paying attention to the dances.

I'd give Len and Bruno the boot and bring in Ian Waite and Karen Hardy.
I wouldn't put Anton on the judging panel he'd just try and make it all about himself and play for laughs. I think Darcey does a very good job and I don't think Craig is all that nasty, he's just very critical and picky. |

Abbey is really popular and knows something about dance technique
i thought Marian Keyes was popular around this forum None of the contestants on the show are actually taught to dance and Marion Keyes knows even less. |

On ITT, Friday before last, Ian Waite visited the Night of 100 Stars, and briefly interviewed one of the lady judges there. It seemed to me that someone like her would have made an ideal replacement for Len.
The pro dancers are regularly refreshed with new blood from outside, so why not the judges. We don't need to keep seeing the same old faces all the time. |

The lady in question was karen Hilton ( I assume from memory), and there is no-one more knowledgeable about Ballroom than Karen Hilton. The Hiltons ( Karen and Marcus) are the Professionals that ALL competitive Pro Ballroom dancers go to for lessons.

I have to agree with Kaycee on this one. Just because you have danced a few choreographed steps to a predetirmined piece of music does not give you much knowledge at all....if any.
None of the contestants on the show are actually taught to dance and Marion Keyes knows even less. |

Darcey is fine. She's all they need.
One straight male, one straight female, and two gay guys is a nice mix. |

Surely Len can't have that much more in him. If he is the first to go then the problem then is not just who the replacement judge should be but also who the replacement head judge should be. In the latter case I can't see them giving it to Bruno (too silly), Darcey (not a specialist) or Craig (already has a role as head meanie).
I'd like to see Karen Hardy on the panel but coming straight in as head judge? Can't see it. |

Mustn't forget that Karen and Marcus were also good Latin dancers before specialising in ballroom.

do you think Darcey should be replaced?
3 possible Judges to me could be: Abbey Clancy ( former winner and Alesha also was a Judge) Arlene Phillips ( would you like to see her comeback) Marian Keyes ( seems to have knowledge on dancing technique) |

Plenty of anti-Bruno sentiment here, but actually, Bruno has been consistently the fairest judge as far as scoring is concerned. His antics are often quite entertaining, and his comments are usually insightful and constructive.
HOWEVER, lately he has a tendency to go over the top with his "antics", and, worse, occasionally his comments are far from constructive, and are downright rude. He does add to the show, BUT he needs to address these problems! |

Obviously not on this forum but Darcy is very popular outside of DS. I have seen polls where she comes top ahead of the rest (which I found amazing as CRH is clearly the best IMO).
So she is not going anywhere and at least she is a dancer and gives advice. I have heard the pros saying that they always appreciate her comments. I have never understood the vitriol on this forum for her. Arlene Phillips was much worse in my opinion |

I seriously think Bruno should be drug tested on occasions, not often but occasionally, he is MUCH worse in his antics than usual

Yes, I find Bruno is the one who needs replacing, his attention seeking antics are way over the top this year. It is a shame because he does make good points occasionally, but I FF him most of the time because he makes me cringe too much. I smile every time Claudia asks Craig to demonstrate some moves on the Len's lens segment as you can see Bruno in the background desperately wanting to do it.
