Quite a few mistakes this week.

But I love Halloween week - if there has to be a themed week then I think the hair and make-up team do such a wonderful job year after year that it should be Halloween week. Wasn't it spectacular this week ? Jay's make-up ? Helen's costume ? Loved Janette's dress. I could do without the tableography and some of the other props but I think they all pulled it off this week.

Why would they care about saving her?
They have always had a thing about over marking and therefore saving who they consider the best.

Kimberly was at the top of the leaderboard after her dance-off as was Abby. Emma, Lisa and Rachel were all top of the boards after their dance offs.

People complained even the first time Peter did it.

Just like every week we get snide comments about him being on last even though he isn't.
I've noticed that too. Some posters have this irrational hatred for him. Just to even the score slightly, all my votes will go to him this week

In fact, I'd absolutely LOVE it if he won.

Georgia is such a lovely girl, very down to earth and grateful. I thought she and Giovanni were the best this week, loved their routine

If they consider someone the best, they give them the highest marks. What's supposed to be wrong with that?

Was Helen in a dace off?

Just giving my opinion . Because it doesn't conform to someone elses' doesn't make it any less valid .Not everyone falls for his little boy BS .
And his dance was dull . The girls (Kellie, Anita, Helen and Georgia ) were much better .

It's true though, no matter how rude you are. Jay has done one good dance, I defy you to name one of his other dances that blew you away.
His Paso Doble last week, and his American Smooth this week.

I agree, it is getting to the point where it is impossible to say anything negative about Jay on here.

Over the next few weeks Carol, Jamelia, Katie, Kirsty and Jeremy have got to go. He'll probably be the last of that group.

Is next week a Bonfire night special followed by a Blackpool themed week. Themes are boring. Full stop

Both rather dull and under-whelming, but hey that's just my opinion, let the jaypet crusade march on.

Never worry , some of us can see past the facade .
He's a good dancer , but not as fabulous as some declare and tonight he was just meh .
American Smooth is a great dance to do something special with , and he didn't . It was just nice and safe . He's resting on his laurels from the pulp fiction gift he was given .

The judges obviously could see more than you can, as he shares the second place on the leader board.

Final comment on this and if you are able to remember my first post which you responded to, I stated that I thought Helen was low in the public vote and that was why she was getting high judges scores.

Well, you keep responding to her when she says things about Jay, so isn't it slightly hypocritical?

Gosh - I didn't realise he was responsible for the choreography as well.

It would be hard to find many week 6 dances from a male celeb that are better than Jay's. People can probably find some but I bet they were all from finalists and winners.

So this week his dance wasn't a 'wow' dance compared to the previous weeks. But you can still see that he has really good technique compared to someone 'untrained' like Anita. His lines, when he tendus his leg, spotting his turns, even lunges are all done properly, whereas someone untrained can do all the steps in the right order and right rhythm but there is always something lacking in the technique.

I'm sure that Anita will probably win and Jay won't, having said that.

The thing with the judges is that if we agree with their score for a favourite of ours then they are wonderful and insightful and bang on . If we don't then they get called all sorts and the verbal pitchforks and burning torches come out . So you pays your money and takes your choice re judges scores . They fluctuate too and the scores for his totally botched dance where he messed up horrendously and nearly ended up flat on his butt at one point were much too high . He was rubbish and got a pity score . Kirsty missed a lift and gets crucified , the favoured one messes the whole routine and gets a decent score . But that's judges for you , inconsistent .

Nope, not just me. Other's have responded to her as well. She posts that she'd rather the very worst dancer win the show than Jay - now what sort of REAL Strictly fan thinks that's what the show is about ? Her dislike of him is bordering on obsessional. Something seriously wrong there !

Yes, and what I want to know is why would the judges care so that they've over-mark her? Why would they risk their reputations and the show's by giving marks they don't think are right? What's so special about Helen that they'd do that for her?

Then you seemed to be saying they over-marked her because they thought she was the best and pointed to times when they'd put someone at the top of the leader-board after they'd been in a dance-off -- even though Helen hasn't been in a dance off.

What it seems to come down to is that they give her high marks because they think she danced well.

This, from someone who actually said they would like slimy Andre to win.

That really is going from the sublime to ridiculous.
