They really weren't the best by a country mile, that's just a ridiculous thing to say. As for him being top of the favourite dancers poll, the Jay supporters would vote for him if he fell over 3 times.

I think the Jaypet army suffer from a similar ailment of monotony.
Favourite dancers, if that's Jay, fine. No problem. Who danced it best though...I'm afraid Jay's was terribly dull. He has great arms and feet, but I'd be surprised if he didn't after his training. .I agree it WAS dull . The AS is a chance to shine . Didn't Jeremy do a passable one ? Most people do . So yes, j's was nice enough but nothing at all special . |

You are all so predictable, and some would say that you are ridiculous because you think that you know more than the judges, who obviously saw more than you saw, or didn't want to see.

Yes they were, and despite certain members who criticise them with monotonous regularity, they are top of the Poll as the favourite dancers this week. ...
They were top of last week's poll, |

Please tell me that's a joke . Surely no one calls him jaypet ? Oh my word

Oh dear . Because some people do polls doesn't mean everyone does them .It's not compulsory . They are meaningless and serve only as bragging rights for the more intense supporters of A or B or J . I've never voted on one and I bet most of the posters on here haven't either.
J topped a poll somewhere for something or other . That's nice .

156 votes in the last couple of hours.

They're not currently top of this week's poll, though when I looked just now only 20 people had voted.
They were top of last week's poll, |

You really are clutching at straws now, they are top of the favourite couple poll and favourite dance of the night, take a look if you don't believe me.
![]() I couldn't care less where they are in any poll anywhere , because like most posters on here I never bother with them . Think about it logically for just one minute please , if your 156 number is right then out of what must amount to hundreds if not thousands who lurk and post on these Strictly threads a minuscule 156 voted . Big whoopy doo .That's woefully unrepresentative of 'everyone' . Most just don't care . Those who do care tend to be persons rather enthusiastic about one celeb or another . I'm not invested enough in any one celeb (despite people trying to claim I am ) to bother voting other than in the official eliminations vote .Like I said , they topped a poll ? That's nice . |

Average Scores For Dances Done On Halloween - Updated 2015 Edition
Viennese Waltz - 34.3 (sample size 3) Quickstep - 34 (sample size 3) Tango - 32.7 (sample size 10) Argentine Tango - 31 (sample size 2) Samba - 29.3 (sample size 3) Waltz - 29 (sample size 1) American Smooth - 27.7 (sample size 6) Paso Doble - 27.5 (sample size 15) Jive - 26.9 (sample size 9) Charleston - 26.2 (sample size 5) Foxtrot - 24.5 (sample size 2) Cha-Cha-Cha - 24 (sample size 3) Salsa - 23 (sample size 2) Rumba - 20.3 (sample size 3) So there you have it - if you get to Halloween week, do a ballroom, and if you have to do a latin make it a samba. |

You appear to be invested enough in Jay - in a negative way - to post frequently and repetitively against him.

The constant bickering between those who think Jay is the best thing since sliced bread and those who clearly despise Jay despite their best attempts to prove otherwise is getting really old now. We get it - some people love him, others do not (or don't like how over-hyped he is, in some cases), but maybe not clogging up the last few pages of the thread by repeatedly shoving your own opinion down everyone else's throat wouldn't hurt now and again.
![]() Otherwise, I really enjoyed last night's show - sure, the theming got excessive at various points, but we not only got a couple of really great routines but the most awkwardly hilarious Rumba I can remember.

Was it a full moon last night as well as Hallowe'en? What a snippy, snipey, snidey, bitchy, unenjoyable thread this has degenerated into. I've just read through the whole thing to catch up, having been out last night and watched the show this afternoon, and wish I hadn't bothered.

Good evening
![]() Hoping for Carol v Kirsty tonight ... but think Carol may have too much support (and sympathy for getting such an inappropriate song for a Rumba ).

Hey everybody.
![]() I'm hoping for a Carol vs Kirsty dance off because to me, they were the worse dancers last night. ![]() This is an interesting pro dance.
