She has said stupid things but that's all, anyway I don't watch Loose Women , can't stand it

What campaign??? Some fms have queried why Jamelia is so disliked and others have responded. Are people not allowed to say why they do not like a particular contestant?

I felt very sorry for Kirsty and Jamelia, but it's the downside of the show. I don't see any way round the lower middle of the leaderboard going before the lowest - just because of why people vote. I thought they were both better in the dance off, but Jamelia deserved to be saved, and at least Kirsty had that lovely dance last week to be proud of. I hope she and Brendan have got on as they said and she can look back on this as the chance to learn with a great dancer.

That wasn't what I was agreeing with it was the comment about taking a dress back.

Who else has been in the dance off three times or more in SCD history ?

I dislike the sanctimonious potshots from anonymous posters and I'm jolly glad my personality and past behaviour is not judged by these posters.

I'm sorry people aren't happy that I brought up the story about the dog but I was only giving my reasons for not liking her, as some people were questioning why she doesn't seem to be popular with the public.

Quite a few people, I think. Mark Benton was in the dance off at least 4 times, and he's remembered very fondly. (I loved him anyway). Some years there wasn't a dance off, but in the years there has been I think it happens quite a lot.

I've been wondering about that too. And what if she's in the danceoff with Carol next week I betcha Carol gets a wonderful song for her American Smooth to prevent such a calamity. But I'm itching to see Carol's jive

Christina and Gleb dancing whilst James Morrison was singing?

I thought they were brilliant.

I'm amazed that people on here and Twitter are actually questioning the judges' decision this week! They are there to judge the dancing, not the person, and they did just that - Kirsty has been very poor whereas Jamelia was pretty good this week. IMO the decision was an obvious one, and before the show I found Jamelia annoying and liked Kirsty.

Certainly Lisa Snowdon, who made the final thanks to the judges, when she had no chance of winning!

Can i just say, as I believe I am the person who mentioned this first on these boards.

I am a veggie, not full vegan for some of my health reasons, but dairy free.
I also work closely with animal rescues an do a lot of work with animals and help campeign animal rights too.

Just so you know, the police will put to sleep a dog handed in to them. This is from experience noth in the dov world and having family members who are in the police.
She did abandon the dog to get one that fit into a bag.

I am informed that John Barnes, Heather Small and Mark Benton were all in the dance-off four times.

It's the way of the world now isn't it. People are hauled over hot coals for something ill-advised they said or did 5 years ago, or even for things they didn't say but can be twisted or misinterpreted. Look at how Twitter can be. I'm sure these people who are so judgemental have never done or said anything wrong in their own lives..... sure.......

That reminds me, I've been meaning to buy that book....'So you've been publicly shamed' I'll get it now.

Quite agree. Feel very sorry for her and her persecution by the internet hate mob.

I think your reasons for not liking her are fine, but people are entitled to say they are tired of the kicking the woman keeps getting at the same time.

She has been consistently better than Kirsty and the judges voted her significantly higher than Kirsty, so difficult to back down....

Regarding the show tonight, I was very disappointed in James Morrison. He sounds much better on the radio!

I felt the right person went home as I think Jamelia does have some natural dance ability. Her days appeared to be numbered though.

Surprised to see Carol still going after that rumba but she's obviously popular and I would imagine a sympathy vote played a part this week after the hammering the judges gave her.

Anyway, both my favourites are still in tact so I'm looking forward to another week of Glita and Team GG

I thought Carol looked ready to go, a pretty half hearted dance and the backstage reaction wasn't of someone gutted by the comments and low score

At least we didn't have to see Carol's rhumba again.
