Idiotic staging

Once again stupid staging of the dances detracts from the show. I really don't get the BBC's infantile obsession with Halloween. Even Pointless was Halloween themed tonight. Will the evening news be next?

I can't disagree with that

Couldn't agree more! They actually had bats flying by on the weather report before. Dreadful.

I wish some of the professionals would just token bit for the theme but mainly ignore it and get on with the dance. As Len would say, too often there is just too much faffing around.

OK, ;-

I think that sums up 99% of the UK public on XF. )

Well, for a start, they didn't have a Hallowe'en theme...

Can we not get back to basics like season one no props just straight into the dancesor themes, we have had ghostbusters and timewarp at least twice each in last few years on halloween

I gave it a miss.

Strictly Halloween is pretty much unwatchable for me. Good luck to those that enjoy it, but I just can't be doing with it.

The good news is that once this week is out of the way it usually starts getting really good from next week through to the final with fewer props, fewer "theme nights" and more serious dances.

I hope so! But the BBC seems to be run by juveniles these days.

I'd agree, but without Halloween we'd have missed out on Frankie's green-faced Wicked Witch of the West and Fester and Morticia's Foxtrot. Both memorable, but for different reasons!

(Sorry to hark back to last year.)

I also loved Danger High Voltage from Pizie and Trent.

That song only worked as a tango with the silly theming.

Felt for Kellie being picked up on not having Spanish shaping when she was having to produce the spooky hand shaping due to Hallowe'en.
