Even Jay, while a good dance, didn't light my spark..

It's really a Halloween house of horrors tonight

When the focus is on the themes, the costumes, the props and the scenery, the dances are bound to suffer (especially so when the music has been chosen to fit the theme rather than the dance)

I've never truly enjoyed Halloween week. Too much time faffing about incorporating the theme with props, costumes etc and it affects the dancing quality.
