He awarded Anita the same score as Jamelia...

Her performance overall IMO was the best this evening and once again under marked by the judges!

Totally agree. Anita was way better than Jamelia. In fact I couldn't understand why the Judges gushed so much over Jamelia's Jive. It was laboured, flat footed and she looked lost a couple of times. It seems where as most celebrities find a style of dance they can do, be it Latin or Ballroom, Jamelia is equally as bad in both whereas Anita is equally as good in both

I agree that Anita was way better than Jamelia BUT....

I never understand when analogies like this are made. If it were the case that all couples danced before being scored, of course, you would see a much better (and realistic) spread of scores. However, this is not the case. It is clear (and expected) that the judges will not review the scores for earlier dances to judge the one they have just watched, if that makes sense. In this case, these two couples danced one after the other which proves this. They mark on what they have just watched REGARDLESS - as it should be.

I've seen posters complain when one of the judges scores the first dancer the same as the last though one may be marginally worse. Though this is the worst case scenario, does anyone really expect the judges to think back to the beginning of the show, remember what they scored the first couple and base their vote on the last on that information? No, me neither...

I think you've just got to keep a realistic perspective on these things...

Tbf her waltz wasn't that great. It lacked grace and flow and she was off balance a couple of times. Too little waltz and too much nonsense (which admittedly is Gleb's fault). 6 was harsh but that's Craig for you. 7 would've been fair.
