That's my initial impression -slightly less full in the face and slightly more stylised giving him the heartthrob hunky look hooking in hopefully female and gay votes amongst other things.


Great first impression and performance

He scrubs up well with the makeover but he's never going to set hearts alight on mass.

They all get a make over before the live shows but it's only a week ago we saw him

He's a few shades darker. I quite like him.

I feel he looked better again and even more appealing this week.

He did a decent vocal this week, I definitely think that he doesn't want to go down the Ben Haenow route as they're not gonna have two winners doing the same heartthrob gag winning back to back.

He looked pretty much the same to me and is certainly no heartthrob.

Like all of this year's male finalists, you wouldn't look at Max and think "potential Attitude/GT photoshoot, wearing very little"

The only way Max is going to be a heartthrob is if he's having a coronary. Nice voice, no discernible charisma. Fewer people would buy his records than Matt Cardle.

That's actually precisely what I thought when I saw Max I think he's absolutely gorgeous

He would get it, oh yes. But hope next week he's not given a harp for this performance.
