This ill-informed post really makes me cross. The protest was about the planned change in working conditions and reduction in pay of
junior doctors. Doctors are still classed as junior until they get a consultant post so there are a lot of middle-aged junior doctors earning less than £45k, many with a
huge amount of responsibility. Very, very few consultants earn anywhere near £200k per year unless they do a lot of private work. My brother is a 50+ year old NHS consultant who earns around £90k per year, a very good salary, but, up until he was about 35 was still borrowing money from our parents to pay his bills. Junior doctors have to pay out large amounts for indemnity insurance plus expensive training courses (without which they will never progress in their careers).
I don't like Peter Andre, I find him cringey and fake and I also perceive his treatment on the show as unfair but I don't think you should be bringing his wife into the discussion - and, anyway, how can she
pretend to be a doctor?
