That's how everyone seems to treat him in his life which is probably why he's a middle aged manbaby.
It seems that, despite the fact he's a 40 something father - did he mention he loves his kids? - the people that surround him speak to him in a tone of voice and manner usually reserved for a 2 year old that has done their first number 2 in the potty without tipping it over their head.
I'm not surprised the hired help treat him with kid gloves but why the SCD judges give any minor criticism as if they're kicking a blind puppy is

I just can't listen to him anymore and I can't even bear to look at him. The celebration of his 7's last night was the most cringeworthy thing I've seen on TV in some time.

I'd love it if the judges in unison started 'la-la-la-la-ing' and the 'talk to the hand' hand when he starts Uriahing.

I used the mute button as soon as he started saying "Can I just say....."

Exactly SCD is top dog when It comes to manipulating the viewers on who they would rather keep but they are usually much more subtle about it, once again Peter on second from last it getting ridiculous.

I also feel they are down marking Anita

It fills me with joy to know that so many people have come to realise that The Abomination that is Andre is a perjurious, self-obssessive, talentless moron who got lucky by marrying the biggest media-whore in the whole industry.
He's even too thick to know that he owes it all to Katie Price.

*phew*
I enjoyed that.

That is a line tailor made for Claudia, I can hear her saying it and can see his wounded puppy look

God knows, I just get white noise now when he starts, but I'd guess it was very humble

you forgot to mention his awful new, whored out wife who is pretending to be a doctor and didn't even go on a march last weekend to protest about (eventually) earning 200k a year...

That has summed up my feelings perfectly (although I would have also used a few well-chosen expletives in my description)

I don't follow PA's career and I am fortunate enough to have never watched any of the carefully constructed 'reality' shows he has appeared in, but it strikes me that the live element of SCD could well be his downfall, unless he heeds advice to dial down the 'sincerity' factor a bit. I'd guess that most of his media output is heavily regulated, and so he is not used to or adept at speaking for himself, hence while he thinks he's coming across as a thoroughly decent, authentic Joe Bloke, he's pitching it all wrong

Surely the major problem with him trying to come across as decent, sincere, authentic and an all round nice bloke is that he's none of those things.
You have to give Bruno some credit for at least pointing out that Peter's dancing is average at best and that all his dances look exactly the same, but why is Len giving him special tips? The way people treat Andre you would imagine he was a puppy who had managed to last 10 minutes without chewing the furniture and humping everyone's leg. He's a grown man fgs. So far, the only person I've heard actually telling him how it is was a proper Judge, in a courtroom.

Absolutely - off-script and unedited, he's a liability, as was evident when off-script and unedited in court.

Given that his media image is his entire raison d'être, and given that the authenticity of his image has recently been examined and found wanting, I'm surprised he hasn't enlisted better guidance on making reparations on the prime-time platform he currently has access to. Whoever is currently doing his PR wants firing.

Where's Max Clifford when you need him?

I agree with every disparaging comment made about Peter Andre and also think he is barely average among the other celebs.
The preferential way he is treated seems to reflect the BBC's opinion that he is the top celebrity this year and special.

This ill-informed post really makes me cross. The protest was about the planned change in working conditions and reduction in pay of junior doctors. Doctors are still classed as junior until they get a consultant post so there are a lot of middle-aged junior doctors earning less than £45k, many with a huge amount of responsibility. Very, very few consultants earn anywhere near £200k per year unless they do a lot of private work. My brother is a 50+ year old NHS consultant who earns around £90k per year, a very good salary, but, up until he was about 35 was still borrowing money from our parents to pay his bills. Junior doctors have to pay out large amounts for indemnity insurance plus expensive training courses (without which they will never progress in their careers).

I don't like Peter Andre, I find him cringey and fake and I also perceive his treatment on the show as unfair but I don't think you should be bringing his wife into the discussion - and, anyway, how can she pretend to be a doctor?

He is imo bottom of the pile in both improvement and personality terms.

He is bringing absolutely nothing to the show except his increasingly desperate oily toadying.
