I agree with every disparaging comment made about Peter Andre and also think he is barely average among the other celebs.
The preferential way he is treated seems to reflect the BBC's opinion that he is the top celebrity this year and special. Even before the court case, he was showing why he isn't allowed to speak without his managers permission and why every utterance from his gob has to be signed off by CAN. It does seem that him and his fanbase thought he only had to turn up to win this year and, I do think, he did it purel6y because his ex won CBB. But we can all see and many predicted that his ego is too fragile to take criticism and his smell the fart face can't be disguised when anything vaguely non fawning is said to him. |

This ill-informed post really makes me cross. The protest was about the planned change in working conditions and reduction in pay of junior doctors. Doctors are still classed as junior until they get a consultant post so there are a lot of middle-aged junior doctors earning less than £45k, many with a huge amount of responsibility. Very, very few consultants earn anywhere near £200k per year unless they do a lot of private work. My brother is a 50+ year old NHS consultant who earns around £90k per year, a very good salary, but, up until he was about 35 was still borrowing money from our parents to pay his bills. Junior doctors have to pay out large amounts for indemnity insurance plus expensive training courses (without which they will never progress in their careers).
I don't like Peter Andre, I find him cringey and fake and I also perceive his treatment on the show as unfair but I don't think you should be bringing his wife into the discussion - and, anyway, how can she pretend to be a doctor? |

I think he made a massive error of judgement doing SCD as all of his failings are on show.

I just can't listen to him anymore and I can't even bear to look at him. The celebration of his 7's last night was the most cringeworthy thing I've seen on TV in some time.
. I'm getting ready to complain to the BBC (although it won't do any good) about how Mr Andre is always given a spot towards the end of the competition, how he has been over marked and is allowed to go on and on about how great the judges comments are. He hasn't improved since Week 1 - the judges and both Claudia and Tess treat him with kid gloves. Talk about preferential treatment. . . |

We actually put the mute button on while he was talking and went to clear up when he got his marks .

I suspect that after the initial bafflement and fury that the ex had won what was essentially a popularity contest, Peter must have thought that if SHE could do it, then so could he. I think he massively overestimated his popularity, and hugely underestimated just how much hard work he would have to put in. Not to mention how many people could see through the nice guy facade, to the desperate cheesy creep underneath. |

I would agree with all of this, apart from the Claudia bit - she closes her body language when he comes near her and I would swear she has made a few funny little digs at him.
Just my 'umble opinion, mind. ![]() ![]()

I suggest someone stations a sniper with a tranquilizer gun ready for the next time he starts toadying up to the judges.

It fills me with joy to know that so many people have come to realise that The Abomination that is Andre is a perjurious, self-obssessive, talentless moron who got lucky by marrying the biggest media-whore in the whole industry.
He's even too thick to know that he owes it all to Katie Price. ![]() *phew* I enjoyed that. ![]() |

I'd be more put out if the comments were reflected in the leaderboard position - but they don't appear to be. In 6 weeks he's gone from top of the board to equal 5th and when you look at the ones below him, it seems about right.
Someone ( Claudia I think ) turned to him and told him he was top of the leaderboard. And his response? " Already?" I think last night was one of his better dances, but of the remaining contestants, in terms of dancing ability he's only better than Carol and Kirsty. It will be interesting to see just how long the judges will be able to justify keeping him off the bottom if he doesn't improve. |

I'm sure he's a simple soul but, crickey he's an arse licker. The Friday panel on ITT said he wants it too much. They are right. His and Jeanette's response to their scores was a weak 'yeah ' to every score, pathetic. Over marked, the public will oust him before the final. He might struggle to get to Blackpool! No loss!

He was also exposed as a man who will happily take part in destroying a man's career, company and good name, getting a former friend fired, and then trying to appear to be the victim. He has cost ITV a fortune, because they fought the unfair dismissal case against Pa's former producer with PA as their main witness. |

I'm wondering how many more dances can he shoehorn in the "magician's hand" move, like he's hypnotised Jeanette.

There is a thread on Showbiz that breaks it down, but basically he got his arse slapped as an unconvincing witness who had lied on the stand - in part to protect his "good guy" image.

Jay : came in so nervous (get ready for all those clips of Tess saying HE'S SHAKING to be played on a loop in the run up to the final) then showed he could get technique then showed he could put on a performance, then won Peter : frontrunner at the start who falls short at the end because he hasn't progressed Georgia : contestant who starts off middling but has a BREAKTHROUGH halfway through and storms it to the final Helen : typical female frontrunner contestant who leads for the whole series then possibly has a shock bottom 2 before finishing 2nd/3rd Katie : Anton's new Great Hope who ends up not being quite good enough Jeremy : the Chosen Endearing One who gets everyone worried he might win but then finishes 6th/7th Carol : the Not-Chosen Endearing One who serves as a meat-shield for the Chosen Endearing One to stop everyone getting outraged at his continued presence too early Jamlia/Kirsty - multiple dance-off fodder who are good enough to sweep out a few of the duffers before leaving themselves halfway through the competition Anita - the one with the hot new pro who shakes everything up with their Krazy Khoreography which the Judges Just Don't Understand Still not really sure what they've got in mind for Kellie though. |

Yeah I think the storylining for most contestants is fairly obvious at this point :

PA's continuing involvement with this year's competition couldn't have anything to do with the producers paying him more than any other celeb taking part ... could it?
I mean ... thinking that he'd maybe bring a large audience with him? .. return on an over-large investment and all that ol' rubbish? Perhaps "Can I just say" is the codeword for "bosses say beef up your freekin' marks, judges"? |
