I checked before making this and didn't see it, sorry...

Georgia seems to be going in a pattern of Latin-Ballroom-Latin-Ballroom so shes probably doing Latin for the next dance, so either Cha-Cha-Cha, Samba, Paso Doble, or Charleston

I loved her foxtrot.

She hasn't done a Foxtrot.

Gonna be the salsa or samba for Jay I think.

Matt Baker still holds the record for highest scoring samba for a male celebrity. I know that Aliona is going to work her magic again

can't wait to see her Samba, Paso Doble ( after seeing this Tango) and i think her Charleston could be good as well.

Carol and a Salsa, OMG maybe even lower than a 2

For my four favourites I they get the following dance:
Anita: Rumba
Jay: Salsa
Georgia: Charleston
Peter: Salsa

This is a stupid question I know, but what's the difference between a salsa and a samba? They seem very similar to me

Samba is a very rhythmical dance which should have lots of bounce action, fluid hip movement throughout, but the dancers must move together in perfect unison.

Salsa should be fast and rhythmic, and should be a mixture of in hold and apart. Like the Rumba the connection between the couple is important, but a more fun, flirty, sexy attitude is required.

On Strictly?

Salsa has lifts and the costumes are skimpy.

Samba has those samba rolls and the female generally has a load of feathers (or loo roll in Helen's case) attached to her bum.

Otherwise, not a lot.

I'm the same - I think it's because most of the time on Strictly they're both mostly disco, thanks to the music.

the samba is a very different dance to 'proper' salsa and on strictly what we get for salsa is a dance which has a lot of samba in it and so hence the confusion between the dances even Mark Ramprakash's dance was far more samba than salsa

If Jay can crack the samba it would be a heavenly watch. If they got great music plus Aliona's choreography (we all remember Matt's great samba), it will be amazing! I can't wait for them to do a rumba too

On Strictly, in recent years, there's very little difference at all.
