Yes, I already thought today that Jamelia would have the VW (based on the other ballroom dances announced, and Jamelia being due a ballroom dance) and therefore the other 3 celebs will quite probably have all latin dances.

If true, then Jay and Georgia will continue with their alternative dance styles, while Helen will be doubling up on the latin dances (assuming she survives this week, she will be back in ballroom at Blackpool).

The possibilities (in bold my own guesses):

Jay - Rumba, Salsa, Charleston, Samba

Georgia - Paso, Cha Cha, Charleston, Samba

Helen - Paso, Rumba, Charleston, Jive

Interesting to note that none of them have done the Charleston yet, and probably after this weekend that still counts (as Peter already has it).

Think that we will not see competing dances this week, unlike last year, so if for instance we learn before tomorrow night that Georgia has the Paso, then Helen has the Rumba (by default; while Jay could still have either Salsa or Samba).

Georgia has tweeted that team GG have the samba this week. I hope they get a decent song for once and one that is appropriate for the dance.

The only weak links I can see at the moment are Jamelia's VW and Jeremy's Tango. Jamelia's struggled with the slower ballroom dances so far so despite a third appearance in the DO, I can see a 4th this weekend

It's going to probably go either way, really bad or absolutely stunning. Hope its the latter.

Georgia & Giovanni - Samba (via Georgia's Twitter)
Helen & Aljaz - ?
Jamelia & Tristan - Viennese Waltz (ITT)
Jay & Aliona - ?
Jeremy & Karen - Tango (via Radio 2)
Katie & Anton - Quickstep (Live Show)

3/5 dances guessed correctly now! Just need a Jay Salsa and a Helen Rumba to have predicted them all correctly!

Personally, I think she might struggle a tad with Chopin's Funeral March.

LOL, that song is no Samba, nor a song that will be ever used as a Samba.

i don't know what song, maybe something Enrique Iglesias or Gloria Estefan.

you are a really funny person,

Well my prediction of Jay having the salsa or the rumba is still alive lol.
Georgia will struggle with the samba; anyone does, she will be lucky to get a 30.

I meant in the sense of ballroom in general, my mistake I really hope she comes out fighting through and surprises. It looks like a week of possible strong performances.

If Jamelia concentrates on the technique, most importantly the footwork as its very precise and specific, she'll be fine. In a competitive VW there are few groups and the fleckerl to learn, so if you work on the technical side, you actually have the dance fairly well mastered. Although Tristan is bound to add some pieces to please the viewers / audience, out of hold etc.
Hope its a good week for all.

I really do hope she can do the VW justice.

Her Foxtrot training looked so promising but it didn't quite get there on the floor.

Sure Georgia will be fine. Hopefully Giovanni will put together a great rthymic routine to showcase her to her best.

Georgia did also struggle with the Tango, and she became top of the leaderboard.

and samba is technical, but Georgia trains really hard

so just fingers crossed all goes well in training

I am sure Georgia will do just fine but given what some of the others contenders have, I see her at the middle of the leaderboard this week.

I would not put it in the "party dance" category....it is a Latin American dance that has - you may not know this - but far more than "some" technical elements.
All the dances are extremely technical and the celeb will only be asked to learn a very small part of that and the remainder will be unknown to them and anyone else watching.

I think that if she wasn't going to ditch the samba - and it's hard to tell which dance Georgia will avoid - coming on the back of her excitement at doing so well at the tango is as good a week as possible for her to get the dance. (But really I have no idea what's so difficult about the samba so I don't know.)
