There is a good chance that there will be two of the better couples in the Dance off I suspect that Carol and Jeremy will be safe and from now on it going to be very interesting to see who is up in this Entertainment Show.

i don't think carol has much longer to go. jeremy is marginally better. the show won't lose one of the top 4 to either of them.

Isn't this the point at which there's a 'shock' celeb in the dance-off alongside a crapper and, when it goes to the judges, it's cheerio to the crapper?

The odd 'shock' result is good for the show.

It's a bummer when your fave goes early in dodgy circumstances (e.g. Pixie last year) but I look at the bigger picture.

Carol may have dropped a clanger by saying she doesn't know what the AS is. Marks her out as a non fan of the show and bodes badly for her performance.

Indeed it will! Jeremy

As opposed to Peter, who spoke at his great lengths of his knowledge of the Charleston. Ish.

I must admit to worrying about Anita.

(Jamelia's almost certain no matter the dance she has, and if anyone's going to make a shock appearance in the bottom two, I'd say Anita)

But he will score better than Carol, and I bet he is not far away in votes either

Added for clarity, I am not a fan or foe of either contestant

I would imagine Jamelia will be there again next week and she could well go home as the dancers who are weaker than her outside of the immortal Carol and Jeremy have now left.

I'd like to think Carol will go next, but there's only going to be one winner, and as long as we keep the real contenders it doesn't matter. The judges will make sure they keep the very best.

I'd rather like a shock exit for Peter...he hasn't improved one iota.

Trust me, judging by a lot of the people I'd imagine are keeping Carol in, they'd be less concerned that she doesn't know what an American Smooth is and more concerned that she isn't showing her legs in it.

That's not to generalise, of course...

Judging by comments about her elsewhere on DS her legs are not the focus of her fans' attention

Anita has a strong fan base - the contestants who are in danger of being in a possible 'shock' bottom two are either :- Peter or Kellie. I am guessing Jamelia will be there or possibly Carol- I think it is her time to go

Anita's riding a wave of popularity and score outrage. I'd say she's almost the least likely to end up in the bottom two.

Georgia or Helen would be my bet but it's still quite possible Carol could go. Jeremy's safe for at least a couple of weeks imo but Carol - not so much. Particularly if she does a half decent (for her) AS.

Yes, but I highly doubt she'd be getting those out in any dance...

The fact that she seems to be consistently undermarked is why I think she'll be most likely to be a shock dance-off-er. There's only so far a vote like that can get you when she's in the middle of the leaderboard (which I can see her being for a good few weeks yet, especially in the Jive, whether she literally channels the spirit of St Jill of Halfpenny and does the best dance ever seen by anyone ever or comes out, sits on the floor and blows her nose for ninety seconds)

I kinda wish it would be Foxtrot instead of American Smooth - the only difference is lifts and it'll be noticed if there aren't any (she's just as tall as Pasha and though lovely, she's not skinny, so surely he won't be doing any). Maybe they wanted to leave it open so it could be a AS Waltz or Quickstep or whatever the choices are.

She's already done a Foxtrot, believe it or not. Mind you, from what we know it was supposed to be an American Smooth until about two days before the live show, so I wouldn't be shocked if she comes out next week and does the Gay Gordons.

The producers have a lot of data now about how the better dancers are scoring with the viewers' vote so they know who the most vulnerable one is. (I hope it's Kellie or Peter ) Who knows just how much they 'rig' things but of course they can choose a good or a bad song - make the riggee dance second - maybe do something in the VT they know won't engage viewers - etc...

The most likely candidates for shock dance off are Helen and Peter (against Jamelia probably)

There's no way Anita will be the shock bottom 2

Still hope for my Carpash Jive then! Or maybe Carcrash Jive
