IF - big if - the votes are called in order then Kellie and Peter , based on tonight's results, are more likely to be bottom two than Anita or Helen. Kellie had a bad song for her routine but she may not appeal to the public. Peter's song and routine was better, on paper, but he was late to be called.

So I'd wager any of the following 4: Carol, Jamelia, Kellie and Peter.

Her judge points have been fine. Ties on the leaderboard have occasionally made her look lower than she actually is but she's been third (points wise) every week apart from week 4 where she was fourth. She might look as though she's nearer the middle of the leaderboard but she's far safer than you might think and I can't believe the judges don't realise that when they score.

They're not called in order. I don't believe for a minute they are called in order. If they were, the celebs would know they were and someone would have said. It only shows who they think will create the most drama. (Sorry, I hope that doesn't come across as aggressive, I just really don't think they are.)

Peter will be very high up the leaderboard with a Charleston and Kellie with a waltz (I think they'd be fine anyway but doubly so with those dances).

Well, it'll be a surprise if Jamelia isn't one.

And if Carol didn't go out after that rumba, she has to be fairly bombproof, as is Jeremy atm. Katie/Anton are obviously fairly popular plus surely their Quickstep will be allowed to get decent marks?

Other than that, no real evidence as yet of who has good or bad popularity amongst Kellie, Helen, Peter, Jay and Anita. Anita is being consistently undermarked which could put her low.... But I'm seeing first signs judges are starting to be underwhelmed by Peter and Kellie. But Charleston is likely to suit Peter...

I admit I've no substance to back my belief but how would the celebs know? Who on the production team is privy to the results before they are called? As I understand it much of the secrecy regarding the joint result is to protect the celebs and those asked in future. They would not let the celebs know at all. If you pay attention to who was where in the leaderboard, popularity on various social media sites and then the order in which they celebs are called, it suggests the call is not random.

I don't necessarily agree there. I think she was always far more likely to survive a carcrash rumba where she was way adrift at the bottom of the leaderboard than a cutesy, vaguely decent American Smooth in which she clings to the coattails of the bottom few and possibly even outscores the odd one (*cough* Jeremy *cough*).

As for Anita, I think her underscoring is more likely to be evidence of her popularity than the reverse tbh.

They've got the storyline point of Kevin never being in the DO before, so I bet if they thought it was doable, they might target Kellie. This week's 7's and strange staging (maybe Kevin wanted that table but somehow I think that got forced on him)... well anyway sorry - I get carried away trying to guess what's going on in Ms Rainbow and her posse's minds.

Jamelia might feature, again (undeservedly).

She will survive if she is up against Carol, but not anyone else, apart from Jeremy.

Excellent point. Surely they overscore the ones they want to protect because they know they need that protection. Helen?

I just can't see past Jamelia as a sure bet for the bottom two as for the other place is different kettle of fish. Carol must be polling very well at the moment or she would have been gone by now, Jeremy is pure entertainment and I doubt he will be gone any time soon. Peter and Kellie look like obvious contenders but does Georgia's and Helen's vote hold up and is Anita as popular as we believe or is really Katie a contender now with a run of poor Latin dances. To be honest it is all to play for.

I agree with this . Peter is finding the transition from pop video to ballroom and latin difficult to master and he's been very middle of the road so far , but I think that Charleston will suit him . If he gets the kooky but fun proper Charleston steps down then he should do ok .
Kellie is just glad to slow down , bless her . We've seen her do great things where balance counts so the spinning in the waltz shouldn't faze her . If she gets the frame right (and I think she will) then it should be a great dance for her .
I think Carol will be ok with the smooth too . She is never going to shine in any dance really , but the AS is a good chance to be graceful and use the floor well . She has done at least one lift and was fine there so that ought to be ok as long as pasha doesn't try anything too complicated . Jeremy did an ok AS , so Carol should be able to .

It's certainly going to be an interesting one.

Whatever happens, at least one person will be in the dance off who hasn't been there before.

Much will depend on who's topping the leaderboard and who's in the middle. If the judges throw a curveball and give Jamelia a boosted score so she's near the top (and are careful not to have many drawn scores).. then that'll leave it wide open.

I do predict we'll lose either Jeremy or Carol in the next two weeks (if not both).

Just for info, Carol beat at least 4 celebs in the public vote this week to be ahead of Jamelia on combined scores. That will be Jamelia, Kirsty, and two others. I doubt that the remaining two were both Jeremy and Katie, so one or two of the better celebs are polling low and will be at risk next week.

Jay was called quite late. He was joint second on the leader board and I don't believe for one minute that he's unpopular on social media.

It's random. If anything they are doing their best to throw us off the scent of who's popular.

I agree, it will be interesting next week for the bottom two, but being high on the leader board is no protection as we have seen before and I feel Jamelia may have annoyed those who are voting for her by stating tonight how she keeps being in the bottom two because no one likes her. Three time in the bottom two and then saying that ... I just can't see how she wouldn't be there again next Sunday.

As to who will join her? I hope its Carole, I doubt it will be Jeremy. I like them both, but find Jeremy more entertaining to watch and think Carole, despite being well liked, maybe be on borrowed time now. If it is a 'surprise' contestant down there it may be Kellie or Peter. Once again I love Kellie and think she is a great dancer, but she may find herself relegated. Where as Peter is middle of the road and his 'nice guy, I respect the Judges SO much' act is getting old now.

Of the two, I think Carol has the larger fan base than Jeremy.

That said, next week could be interesting if it's Jamelia against anyone who isn't those two. I think Peter/Kellie are the two most at risk of the supposed favourites, but SURELY it's time for one of the two duffers to fall? Then again, we haven't had a shock yet, really...

Oh I've no idea why people think they read it out in order. Above anything else why on earth would they? To prank everyone they've told that they don't?

I think times up for Carol next week. I can see Jamelia avoiding the dance off after admitting she knows she's disliked, sympathy vote. Similar to Michelle Williams, week after week of the dance off before receiving a bounce back vote.

I see one of the bigger scorers joining Carol. Either Helen or Peter, popularity seems to be slipping a little for both.

You are probably correct, however they have both got dances which should suit them (perhaps Kellie moreso), so a middle of the leaderboard situation might be unlikely.

Think that the other 5 dances (to be revealed) will be critical. If for instance Helen gets the rumba next week, then she might be in trouble (she hasn't got AS, Charleston or Jive probably; we will probably get 10 different dances, even if that was not the case last year).

Assuming that Carol ends up at the bottom of the judges vote, I think the contenders are only safe by getting a top 3 finish on that leaderboard.

This is pure speculation on my part, but I think Carol's fans will continue to vote for her as long as she seems to be enjoying it. She's doing SCD for fun rather than a career boost, so if she's having fun "BBC Breakfast" viewers & Chris Evans's listeners will give her a vote. I think if she gave any indication she'd had enough, people would stop voting and let her leave. I would imagine most people feel the same way about Jeremy. Neither of them entered to win, they don't need to win to boost their profile, improve their career opportunities, increase their album sales etc. They're learning to dance (sort of ) and we get to watch.

Peter's popularity has been falling since the start of the series.

Think that Helen is only growing in terms of popularity, especially since she actually performed a good samba (which even silenced some critics). She also has the second most facebook likes for her dance this weekend (only Jay has more).

But much of it will depend on the dance and how it is performed on the Saturday, think that only Jay and Anita are immune (perhaps Katie also, but her time might be running out if the QS is only average).
