Why do you think the opposite has been true in Strictly Come Dancing? Until tonight all the contestants that have been eliminated are male.

It's not like you can justify any of these female acts being a real contender....all the female acts that do have a chance made it through...

Yes maybe the voters are a lot fairer on that

Kiera definitely could have been a contender and she for sure was built up to be one by the show all through the auditions.

I may be in the minority (I usually am when it comes to X Factor ) but Kiera is my favourite. She doesn't oversing and shout through the song. I'm hoping she'll be given a better song next week.

Interesting as it is to try imply that this result was a result of the rampant sexism plaguing the British voting public, I'm a bit more inclined to believe it was because the three at the bottom were the worst three acts on the night.

Max and Anton were both pretty awful too.

people need to make excuses when their "favourites" are just not good enough and unfortunately sexism or racism are the easiest cards to play

On strictly you vote for the pair in reality. All the females have a hunky dancer partner! I'm sure that's getting plenty of votes as well.

If anyone thinks Bupsi went for any reason other than being crap, they're kidding themselves

I would guarantee that, had Jennifer got through, she wouldn't have gone tonight but we'll never know

Whilst I'm not completely against the notion that the people who vote on The X Factor might be biased, I think being average/forgettable was the killer tonight.

Alien Uncovered were forgettable, and 4th Impact smashing their performance didn't help matters.

Bupsi was given an un-charismatic song and sang it averagely.

Keira doesn't have as big a personality as the other contestants in her category, therefore forgettable, plus her song on Saturday was pretty average. Tonight was a lot better.

People like Anton have big personalities, and although Max was given an atrocious remix, it stuck in people's heads and if you're anything like me, you can still appreciate his good vocals.

No. The three worst acts of last night were in the bottom three, nothing to do with race at all. Does a disservice to real issues when people start pulling out that excuse.

based on what we have seen so far i reckon monica and louisa are shoo-ins for the final

monica might lose out in the popularity stakes as she does still come across as a bit "gruff" tho
