No, they just suck.

Last four winners: two male, two female.

Including a girlband.

But overall, we have 7 male winners, and 4 female winners. That's almost doubly in favor of male artists.

I think being female on the X Factor (Especially girl groups) is a disadvantage in general. Its not so bad in the later stages but definitely is present in the early ones.

I think Bupsi, Kiera and Alien were the fair choices for the bottom 3 in this particular week, though so no real complaints from me.

Apart from the fact Max stayed despite absolutely aborting Adele, being incredibly bland and boring. But I'm absolutely positively sure that has nothing at all to do with the fact he's male. I'd never insinuate that. Nope. Never.

So overall in the 11 past series of The X Factor, the final 3 has consisted of 24 male artists, 8 female artists, and 1 mixed group.

i'll prefer to wait on their performances rather than just make assumptions based on demographics

kiera and bupsi were imo the worst 2 acts last night and deserved to be in the bottom 3 , alien are so far away from my taste in music its hard for me to judge them so i cant really argue with them being out

my two favourite acts from last night were louisa and monica , but that was based on their performances not because they were female

i genuinely think people take demographics far too seriously and just overlook the quality of the performances, max was dodgy last night and i cant take to him at all as he just doesn't seem convincing trying to do reggae and that was definitely the wrong song to try and do in that style but at least it was an attempt to do something creative rather than just a weak copy of the original like kiera and bupsi did

Wasn't a problem for Little Mix, who have one black girl and one mixed race girl.

To be fair to tulisa who is always heavily criticised on here , she did a brilliant job in pushing them and the won't steal your boyfriends line was a masterstroke to get traditional voters onside.

I maintain that Max wasn't awful, the remix was awful. Max sung it well in spite of the track.

I see that point, but I still don't think 2 of them being non-white had anything to do with it.

On SCD Jamelia has been in the bottom 2 three times despite having some of the best marks from the judges. Shows what is happening with the voting public.

Yes the remix was terrible, I agree. But I still maintain if he was called Maxine, then Maxine would have been in the bottom three.

Why would it be fairer to vote out all the male contestants first than it is to vote out all the female contestants first? Also, I would think most SCD viewers are also TXF viewers.
