I totally agree with the previous poster who called them dated! Really can't understand why the judges have called them the next big thing and so different?! they are literally doing exactly what the pussycat dolls were 10 years ago!! as they were in the sing off my mum came into room and even said it was like they were from the year 2000 - like that group girl thing or something! Just because they have different colour hair (which loads of girls do now!) they have the same moves as the pussycat dolls combined with chavvy rapping. The main reason they went tho is to be a successful girlband in general you have to be likeable to females - guys are not going to buy their singles. little mix are very succesful because they are relatable girls. Alien are too try hard!

Shae, Frank, Madz, Temple, Natalie, Yaz.

And I didn't look that up

I realise I'm in the minority in knowing that though haha.

Pussycat dolls were all attractive

They're were rough in looks and style.

Would anyone actually pay to watch Alien Uncovered or even buy their records. To me they looked like a group of teens would be trying to look like celebs, dancing and singing in front of their mirrors. All they needed were hair brushes in their hands. Just all too OTT.

God knows what Cheryl was thinking when she picked them. There were at least 2 other bands that would have done better - BEKLN Mile and Melody Stone.

The simple truth was that they were all style with very little substance. Without the big production they were exposed tonight.

Absolutely this.

It's the same every year - was surprised they didn't have Havva in the line-up as well because they think she's trendy.

The problem is that it was trendy 10+ years ago.

It's never a good idea to put 2 girlbands through. 99% of the time the public refuse to vote for even one of them, let alone 2. I think 4th Impact probably drained the (extremely limited) number of girlband votes away from them as they can arguably sing, perform and rap better than them and they were on later.

They were still a lot better than Reggie n Bollie for instance, but they lack that crucial penis the X Factor voters demand of their singers, so...

I literally thought Pussycat Dolls/Danity Kane rip off so I agree with those who are suggesting they're dated.

Also there styling was absolutely horrendous for the live shows. It looked like they were styled by Matalan for that sing off.

I would have preferred them doing Gwen Stefani. The Jessie J song they chose because it's 'British' is the least British thing she has ever done. Also it's not a good song for this kind of competition.

I didn't think their performance was good either. There were too many of them and it looked messy. Only half of them have a good stage presence.

Even their names are annoying.

They lost it in the sing off. I suspect the judges would have saved them over Kiera if they had offered anything other than that crap wailing.

One of the problems they had is that their VT showed them saying they wanted to lose their reputation as 'hard faced dancers' - then they choose to sing Do it like a dude, which is a very aggressive (not to mention utterly shite) song about women who like to grab their dicks.

Something wrong there methinks. I didn't help that they switched lead vocalists every 3 seconds, the rapping was corny as hell and their singing voices were weak.

I don't think it helped that they were clearly miming the chorus and that was the only point at which the performance gelled. Even if you liked their image and posturing and didn't think their opening 'Hey's' as they galloped onto the stage was reminiscent of the Spice Girls why would you feel motivated to vote for an act that's so obviously not actually singing in a singing competition?

All that crotch grabbing and singing in a forced accent isn't really X-factor's thing

I thought it was hilarious on xtra factor when they had them all on a sofa wearing (clearly bought for them) fluffy onesies, apart from the one with red hair who had an outlandish one on clearly refuesed to be manipulated
