Why has the Peter thread been stopped? It was mainly a critique of dancing and the judges reaction to his comments. I want another one!!!!

I don't understand it either. There have been plenty of other threads slating other celebs and they've never been stopped. My theory is that one of the Mods is a close relative.

it was because some FMs were slating Peter's personal life that had no connection with Strictly.

Fair enough, but i'm sure other celebrities have suffered similar abuse on here. Saying someone has 'dead eyes' doesn't appear to be Strictly related.

It was getting malicious, I was one of the guilty posters. I think it was fair enough that they closed it down, the thread about Helen has also been closed, so at least DS are being consistent.

Peter's just trying not to look like a shoo-in, and be humble instead, 'mate'. He doesn't want to come across as the cocky ringer since the GBP won't take to it. He's overdoing it. "Simper Andre"
(*the above is not latin)

It would make a great family motto though, very appropriate. All he needs now is a coat of arms.
