So I sort of stole this theme from this year's series of the OZ X Factor, but this one was just too good to pass up.
The first theme you'll be facing is called LAUNCH PARTY.
The meaning of this theme is twofold. The 'launch' part means that you should try to find a song that cements the musical identity and direction you have planned for your acts, while the 'party' theme means you must do so in a festive way. Uptempo songs are the name of the game here, though mid-tempo songs are acceptable as well. Save the ballads for the sing-off, which you will also all need to pick songs for in case your act(s) land there.
See this theme as a trial by fire and a good indicator for the difficulty of themes to come (they won't surpass this one in difficulty, but some do match it). Oh, and each show will feature a single elimination. None of those double or triple elimination shenanigans here. Good luck, judges.
The shows will all take place on Thursday nights, with one taking place every week. I want people to be able to write comments and vote in advance if they cannot make it, so please get your songs in by Wednesday at the latest. Earlier is always better, but I would advise not rushing things and thinking about your song choices carefully. The show will likely start at a similar time as this launch show, which is 6:30 PM.

Good acts all around (albeit none of the ones I sent :'( ). Quite looking forward to seeing what Jacka does with Stereo Kicks as they could a really good harmony band and not your typical boy band type of thing

Wow, I just had a look and apparently The Chance Factor 3 ended on the 25th of May 2014. I genuinely can't believe it has been that long. 1 and a half years, blimey.
I believe that would be all for tonight, unless I'm missing something?

Oh, and I haven't received anyone's sing-off songs yet. Please send these to me as an act without a sing-off song is much more likely to get eliminated should they land in the bottom 2 than an act who does have one.
