Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott - Wisdom, Laughter And Lines
Anybody heard this?
Bought it the other day and have to say I really like it. Thought their first album was good but this is even better. The album has got into the top 5 but i don't see much discussion about it anywhere. They make such a good duo. The single 'Austerity of Love' is really catchy, but then so is the whole album. |

I haven't stopped playing the album for days and I don't think there is one weak track at all. Paul seems to have found his mojo again after teaming up again with Jacqui and this album is up there with The Beautiful South at their peak. I'm going to see them live at the O2 Academy in Birmingham next March and can't wait.

One of the few acts that make me feel physically sick. Badly sung MOR doesn't do a lot for me.

Love it. Bought it Friday & been listening to it non-stop.
Austerity of Love is my favourite too closely followed by Heatongrad. Saw them live last night too in my home town of Scunthorpe & absolutely loved them. First time I've seen them live & want to see them again now.
