With so many experts around I have never understood why the embarrassing come together is such a mess. Maybe they both have left feet but you would think that someone (anyone!) could devise a simple (very simple ) routine for them to appear and greet each other.

Or they could just both walk out like normal people?

No need to give them a little dance routine to do, that was Bruce's lame attempt to show off his fading soft shoe shuffle skills.

Imho one of them would have to learn how to walk before they think of dance steps, one just lumbers about like someone drunk, deportment isn't a strong point with the winkle person....

Tess is naturally awkward and can't even stand up straight - no cure for that - and Claudia is busy adopting her fake BBC persona of 'clumsy, gawky, crow-like teenager' for this show, despite the fact that she is none of those things and is highly intelligent.

Yup, it drives me nuts. I cannot stand grown women pretending to be little girls, or even girlish. Daft and stupid idea.

As has already been said both need the basics of standing and walking before they could learn to dance.

As it is I am amazed that one or the other doesn't fall over every week.

It always makes me smile each week, that for a show that is based on dancing, where you think of fabulous posture, balance, grace, elegance etc....you have these two stumbling on each week followed by the pitiful entrance of the "judges"..

Yeah, i'm amazed that after all this time, neither of them have picked up any tips on posture or just walking on in time to the music even.
When Claudia did ITT she was awful whenever Len attempted to do any steps with her.
I suspect Claudia would reach Fiona Phillips or Nancy del'Olio levels of awfulness if she ever tried to compete. Tess doesn't seem quite as bad but that's not saying much!

Darcey needs to have a word with them about strengthening their cores!
