Give Jay and Aliona a break!

Another stupid made up article in The Sun this morning. This couple have had more lies written about them than any of the others - not sure why. Jay does not appear to be a controversial character actually he appears to be well liked by all the pros and fellow contestants and comes across as modest and enjoying the process. Aliona is an amazing dancer and choreographer and on SCD and ITT she appears to have a very good relationship with her colleagues

One minute the tabloids make up stories about them 'having ailing' and then says they are rowing - none of these stories have any foundation or evidence on screen. Let them continue to produce their weekly amazing performances and stop trying to upset a lot of people around them. The Sun is a RAG which should try and print some actual factual news for a change.

Because Jay isn't a controversial character and is well loved all the attack is on Aliona as well which is so unfair.

Very odd that these "a source said" stories only seem to be about the front runners. (Helen's had some not nice press too)

And very interesting that because the fling thing wasn't sticking with the public we've moved onto blazing rows and jealous Aliona

Just ignore it. Everyone knows that tabs just throw everything around to see what sticks...nothing seems to be affecting Jay & Aliona, or Jay's enjoyment of the show so it's better just to ignore.

The Sun and Mail are both rag's, as are most of the tabloids, which is why I haven't bought a newspaper for years.

Nobody with any sense will take any of the rubbish that they print seriously, and I doubt that it will make any difference to Jay's increasing popularity. He is obviously a genuinely nice guy, and a great dancer, and I am quite sure that nothing will stop him from dancing his way to the finals.

Jamelia also got some stick about supposedly not turning up for training and Tristan being impatient with her etc etc

That's right. I remember commenting on that thread about what nonsense it sounded like.

The problem is that once one tabloid makes up a story like this then all the others repeat it. Either quoting the original or making up something else to add to it.

I don't understand the fuss. Crap articles about Strictly celebs/pros appear in the tabloids all the time. It's par for the course during Strictly season.

Oh, I rather enjoy it. I can't bear Aliona so I'm prepared to believe it. (The bitchy bit of me.)

Jamelia? That's interesting. Not turning up for practice. That comment by one of the judges about looking under-rehearsed? Was that a dig?

I saw something in the daily mail about Aliona being anmoyed at Jay for texting the other contestants.

It is just getting silly, they have all said a number of times about their whatsapp group and the fact they all message every day and night.

A poster said something on the article that made me think, Peter has a good PR team built around him, it may just be something from them as he is no longer the favourite.
Helen has also had some awful stories about her.

Sad really, all small things attacking their personality and not something they can address either without looking petty. All very clever really.

I had a good laugh when I read it. They tried to make out that they are a couple now they are trying to split them up. You just couldn't make it up.

I thought the same when the under-rehearsed comment was made

O, so you (rightly) don't like the Fail printing what you consider untrue stories about Jay and Aliona , but its ok for you to say that ....double standards methinks.
Mind you Pete gets blamed for most things on here, so why not eh?

I didn't say it was fact, just a thought.

I also forgot to add that it could be any other one of their PR teams.
Lets face it, it actually came out about Suzanna Reid and her PR, spin team for when she was on the show.

It is coming from somewhere though, Helen and Jay, if it happens to Anita and Georgia and all the contenders bar Peter then it will be interesting.

Without any evidence whatsoever I think it should remain that, just a thought. It seems to me to be very unfair to Peter Andre to put him forward as a possible source, especially on a thread which is criticising gossip about other Strictly participants.

^^^^^ Precisely. Why some people seize on any (or conjure up their own) opportunity to have a pop at Peter is beyond me. He is perfectly ignorable, as are they all

But that is just what I said, it made methink. It was one of the top rated comments, it wasnt my idea at all, I read it and it made me think.

I have nothing against Peter, and as I said, my post does not say it as fact, just a thought and again it was suggested there and one of the top posts, so seen by many.

It is just hearsay as is the articles. I dont believe it really at all. I just read it early this morning on the comments.

A thought that you are quite happy to circulate! And in a thread about gossip as well

The papers don't need to be leaked info from x, y or z's PR team to post nonsense - Strictly is manna from heaven for them this time of year so there will always be some story in, especially with how uninspiring X-Factor is so far. It just happens that Jay & Aliona generate the most interest online it seems so ofc they will publish more stories about them. There have been numerous 20+ page threads on here bickering back & forth on them, the tabs aren't dumb. They know what gets attention.

I know in certain cases stories are leaked, but I really think the majority of them tend to be puff pieces & unless there is a clear dislike already there, there really isn't any point of ~sabotage, especially this early in the series for the most part. Obviously it does happen (Ola vs Karen as an obvious example) but not enough for me to think it would be the norm instead of a rare exception.

Yes, have me hung! I just repeated an opinion I read that may not be out of the bounds of truth.
Yet some write malicious posts on peoples appearance. Truly this is ciminal on my part.

I couldn't believe that article when I saw it how do people come up with this stuff

Can I also say that they need to leave Kristina out of these stupid articles the press never waste a moment to write awful articles about her !

That article in the Sun is a load of rubbish I rather read what was said in Hello which was Jay saying the success he has on the show is down to Aliona. I dont think for one second they have fallen out.

Take no notice.

They are paid very well to be on Strictly, have to put up with the downside as well!
