I see the sections on the black bar now seem to load ok, pity they changed it to huge images & hardly any text. You really need to get your designers to go back & actually learn how to code a website. This whole mess looks like it was designed by a 5 year old

It all looks fine to me. I had issues which required a cache clear which really could have been avoided. Also the rollover does not function correctly on the forums, (you can't select anything). Works ok elsewhere on the site though.

Oh my God, this site is seriously getting on my nerves. I could see the forums on my phone but couldn't log in due to an error and I couldn't even see the forums on my IPad. I've had to delete my web history, the third time I've had to do this now due to issues with this site and finally got access back. Do the people that own/run DS want to stop people using it? This website is a chore to use these days and the main Beta site is horrendous. For the love of God, sort it out.

Finally managed to log in after being told it was incorrect. This came after getting database error for most of the afternoon and when it does load, I only get the new back Nav bar and no content. Now I get content (news articles/forums etc) and can log in (obviously as I'm posting this) but when it loads a post I put up or switch page, I get loads of broken links flash up on the left before they dissapear and the page loads. Looks like what happens whena webspage doesn't load properly and the text and links are all over the place. Sorts itself out in a few seconds but still a pain.

I think the chuckle brothers could have done a better job.

I see that too, but only for a split second. Are your pages + ads slow to load in general?

On Android the huge pointless big black bar at the top comes down when you scroll down but in a really erratic half-arsed fashion. It doesn't flash up until you take your finger off then it covers up the text at the top you want to read.
Then when scrolling back up it sticks in place until you lift your finger off thus revealing the bit of text at the top you don't want to see again.
It doesn't even perform this bit of crap functionality consistently but just feels broken.
This is really basic stuff that should be picked up in the first round of testing.

This change is horrible!

The big black banner is clashing with the other colours. The stark contrast is actually making me feel dizzy and nauseous.

And why the wider tramlines down each side?

ETA: Oh, and I've just had a big black flash covering my screen when I've clicked on the next page. Ugh!!

I think I must be the only person who doesn't mind the new look.

I couldn't get on on Firefox earlier but I followed advice to clear the cache and it's fine now. Was ok on my android phone.

The actual text of the forum is only half as wide as my screen. It wasn't especially wide before but now it's even narrower. It's kind of annoying.

I think a lot of web designers make changes because they want to, not because it is required, i also think that they really do not use the sites they change or not for a long term anyway.

The black navigation bar on the forums is awful, it really is not required, and the main site, it is just a load of scrolling to get anywhere and what is it with this latest thing to have a load of white space on websites?

What happened with keeping it simple? I am sure web designers also changes stuff because they are worried they will be out of a job if things stayed as they was. If it works leave it alone.
Even my bank have mucked up their online banking site because they wanted a change.

I'm convinced the persistent Title Bar is deliberately taunting me now.

It keeps vanishing for a couple of minutes - Just long enough for me to think "Ah, they've locked it to the top of the page now" - and then the bloody thing re-appears again.

I'm afraid I shall have to resort to stylebot for a more permanent solution.

Another disastrous 'update'.

I cleared all my settings and catch but DS still does not work on Chrome all I get is and looks like this for me.

Now the window on the forum is narrow, users are seeing smaller fonts and buttons and the bar isn't even working properly on many browsers, especially mobile.

Same for me on Chrome earlier, then it started working again by itself. This whole thing has been a total and utter cock up!

Hmm, exact opposite here, had to switch from Firefox to Chrome.

ETA: I've just scrolled all the way down the page for the first time tonight and noticed that mahoosive black footer!

I forgot about adblock thanks clicking on to it and selecting element to hide got rid of that awful black thing.
