I had trouble getting the forum to show up at the start of the week all working fine now thankfully.

Thanks so much for this tip - I've just done it and the forums, at least, are so much better this way.

It just makes me sad when a company so blatantly disrespects its userbase and would rather talk jibberish cooperate speak we don't understand than admit they got it wrong and try and put things right.

Why even ask for feedback? What a joke.

I know DS is a free service but the way this update has been handled is terrible. It still amazes me when people manage to be this incomptent and willfully tone deaf.

The main site is just a big piece of crap. I am no longer using it at all. Who are they targeting? Mobile users? I basically only use DS on my phone these days and that is just not useable.

Is it bad that I sorta want them to lose page clicks and advertising revenue so they'll listen? This is genuinely the worst website redesign I've ever seen.

I used to visit the tech page at least once a day, but no longer. The loss of a clear simple list of the latest stories and no comments has made the site far worse.

So did I but now have to put in my passwords codes etc that I have not used for years as it wiped them all off.

Just tried to start a new thread about a topic relating to the soaps area and I cannot send it because I can't type in the Title bar. Anyone else had the same problem and how did you get over it if you did.

Someone did write one that displayed in-line pictures and your Avatar/Profile Picture in left hand column in your details, but it was only 99% perfect. I forget why now.

A number of people have reported this and I have yet to see a solution mentioned. However, it does appear to be intermittent so if you go in and out of the new thread page a few times you may get lucky - no guarantees though.

Whilst forum support did come onto this thread a few days ago acknowledging some issues it is interesting that with the fixing of some issues eg: not being able to login - they feel enough has been done and no need to respond.

What they don't seem to realise that burying their head in the sand and not even acknowledging that there are some issues will not make it go away - think they are hoping that they can ignore and we will all get bored with moaning.

It would be refreshing for someone within DS to come on here, acknowledge what is wrong and their ideas to fix the situation. As I said the other day so many people on here with good ideas (and programming but I am a bit of a luddite with all that) and they do not tap the potential of people using their own site!!!

Well, I gave given up at work. I can'*t get anything but the black screen. No links, no nothing. I am not using up my phone data any more. Sick of it. Thanks a lot, DS. For nothing. Used to browse at lunch and now I can't. Use IE at work.

I cannot put anything in the title bar of a new thread and I cannot even get through to forum support and get a "404" and some daft cartoon creature. No recent contact or updates on this forum either from forum support.

They need to put the forum back to the last known working version and then fart about in a beta site until they iron out the obvious problems they have created by making this live.

A bit more contact from Forum Support would be most welcome.
