Er.... the nav bar does disappear as I scroll down the page only reappearing when I scroll upwards and I couldn't say its particularly big or intrusive.

The forums look odd on my phone now. On the main page (where I refuse to use beta) every article now has an advert which I have to click off. Are they trying to drive people away?

I'd have checked my own emails first for banning notices before coming to that conclusion. I've already admitted there are hiccups in the design change and that's not good.

I think the design is a nice one and a figure of speech for that is a "winner", which is what i said.

Clearly 404 pages are not good. But they happen. That's why there are pages specifically designed to handle them.

The black navi bar is a touch screen concept.

It is simply not possible to combine the mouse / touch-screen concepts into one, the touch-screen way always dominates.

So laptop/desktop users will always find it tricky to use.


(The touch-pad on laptops is essentially a mouse)

Well it followed me until I blitzed it. Intentional or not, another mark in the "bad design" column.

Oh. I thought I'd very cleverly fixed it myself by re-installing the 'old skin' on Stylebot, which put everything back to normal, but I see from this thread DS have put it back to how it was anyway.

It's gone a bit small textually for me and the smileys seem to have shrunk so I just went to 110% instead of 100 on Chrome.
