get one of them to introduce an act and the other to interview them after and then swap around as both doing both links doesn't work, the other looks like a spare part holding the mic. I think this is how they do this on the Voice and it just about works. Call to Emma Willis coming me thinks with a big money offer to take over next year...

I agree, I think the producers think it worked well with Ant & Dec, but they can talk to people together without it sounding and looking odd.
The so-called chemistry between Olly & Caroline just isn't there, they both look awkward.
They should definitely take turns, it would be much better.

Ant and Dec have been working together since they were kids, they bounce off each other and so they are one of the few examples of that kind of presenting working,

Having two presenters was a terrible idea and I while like Ollie and Caroline, they're just not cut out for that kind of presenting. Emma Willis on her own would be a far better choice.

As I said on another thread the main show needs someone like Dermot avuncular with the contestants and he held the stage better. Olly and Caroline were better suited to Xtra Factor where they were very good , on the main show their jokey partnership does not have a chance to come through and they do not sit well as a serious presenting team they need the light hearted style of Xtra factor . Every role has its person who fits it and they got it wrong on X Factor by letting Dermot go
