ED Aaron and Chrissie
Who else really wants a scene between Aaron and Chrissie where they sit down and talk about the affair properly. Because Chrissie has confronted Robert about the affair but she has never really confronted Aaron. Not properly.

He's behaviour had been horrible since the affair reveal. I really felt for Chrissie. I actually laugh that his in jail, it's almost poetic.

I dunno really. Just for her to ask him questions about the affair and for him to finally be sorry because he has no guilt whatsoever about the way he has treated her. No guilt over the fact that she caused the helicopter crash because of him. It would be nice for them to have a proper conversation

You can't blame Aaron for the crash, that is all on Chrissy. By the time she had decided to pull a Waiting to Exhale he had a lot of time to digest the fact that Aaron was sleeping with her husband, what she did was calculated and planned, it was not the thoughtless reaction that was a result of learning about the affair.

No but it was revenge on Robert for cheating on her and Aaron played a major role in that

Right Aaron played a role by sleeping with Robert, but her issue should be with Robert not Aaron. Aaron didn't cheat on her, Robert did. That is one thing I don't get, IRL women always want to go after the their husband or boyfriend's side chick when the one they really should be made with and who is to blame for the problem is their husband or boyfriend.

I'm not sure that there would be much to say
it's not like they were ever friends, he wasn't the one who betrayed her or made a commitment to her. I like Aaron but one of his flaws is that he is not the type of person to give much of a stuff about people he isn't close to. Chrissie: I hate you for sleeping with my husband. Aaron: bothered? end scene I will get flamed for this on here but as morally dubious as it is, I quite like that he isn't grovelling at her feet saying sorry as per the handbook of soap clichés for mistresses. He barley knows her. |

While I fundamental agree with you, I think if you get with someone and you know they are married you should get your head flushed down the toilet or something but the lions share of blame should always be with the other half.

I do think this is funny but what I was trying to say was for Aaron to just say im sorry for the way I treated you. Me and Robert never meant to hurt you. That kind of thing
If we were talking about an affair situation like the one with the Barton's and Debbie or going back a bit Chas, Debbie and Cameron were there were personal relationships and trust on all points of the triangle then perhaps but sorry I don't want it and I don't need it in this instance. Neither does Chrissie. |

He could and it would certainly be the decent thing to do but as they hardly know each other I am not sure I buy that his apology would mean all that much to Chrissie, she wouldn't get anything from it and she is already moving on with her life.

That is a good point yes and I agree with you. All im saying is that Aaron wasnt forced into the affair. He could have said to Robert no I cant have an affair with you. Your getting married. It wouldnt be fair on Chrissie but he didnt and the way he told her about the affair was vicious and brutal and then a week later he gloated to her about how Robert went after him. He hasnt shown one ounce of guilt for the way he has treated Chrissie and all I want is for him to finally apologise for the way he has treated her. For them two to sit down and have a proper conversation.

Ok. I take your point that they weren't really that close to begin with. I just think that he owes her an apology. The affair lasted 8 months and the aftermath was pretty rubbish.

Also as someone mentioned on Tumblr. During the affair Chas and Paddy decided not to tell Chrissie to protect Aaron because they knew that Chrissie would go after him. That was pretty pointless because when Chrissie did find out she flung a few insults at him and that was it. We have never had a proper confrontation.

oh I don't disagree with you there, he does owe her an apology but it's not the end of Chrissie's world she didn't get it.

I think it's too late now for Chrissie and Aaron to talk and there be an apology from Aaron. If we were gonna get that, it would've happened months ago. Like someone else said, when Aaron revealed the affair to Chrissie it was to get revenge on Robert, and you can't blame him for that, he did just have a gun pointed at him and Paddy shot right in front of him. Telling Chrissie about the affair was all he had and he was in a bad place at the time he told her because of what happened at the lodge. I felt sorry for Chrissie at the time but Aaron was in a bad place at the time too. |
