Official CIN Song 2015 - Jess Glynne Take Me Home
I'm so excited this is being released as a single.
When I got the album apart from the singles, this was my favourite song by a county mile on there. Pleased I know all the words before everyone else too! Has anyone else heard it yet? |

It's a good song but the video is .. strange .. sort of.
I get that her being "naked" is likely supposed to emphasise the 'raw emotion' or something, but the parts where she stops miming are just a bit silly really. It reminds me of the song "Stay" by the group Sugarland. When I first saw the video it was heartbreaking because it was said that the song was about Jennifer Nettles begging her husband to stay after he'd been unfaithful. She was visibly upset and crying throughout the video and it was hugely emotional. Turns out it was nothing to do with her at all and that the song itself had just made her emotional. Wouldn't be surprised to hear Jess saying something similar I suppose. |

Great choice. It clicked me with instantly when I got her album. Likely another number 1 for her.
