Madness screeches when some cockroaches head her way.

She stabs a cockroach with the nail file she found at the Bush Telegraph.

Madness decides to break out of jail just for the night & sleep in a tree. She cleans the nail file from bits of cockroach on the back of Adams head. Sorry Adam she whispers.... I knew you wouldn't mind??

Madness then uses the nail file & paper clip to open the lock & gets out. She plans to be back in the jail in about 5 hours (once she gets a bit of sleep in the tree) before everyone else wakes up & notices. It's sooo dark MItch, Cal & the rest will never know & Madness can't bear to sleep or lie down with bugs crawling everywhere.
