I am starting to think that it is only Asian, Filipinos to be specific are the ones who are making it big for 4th impact in the show based on social media accomplishments.

Are there really british viewers or fans who actually like the group?

Well judging by the poll on tellymix there are millions of British people who like 4th impaact as they have got more votes than the rest of the contestants put together.

I dont think it matters where a group or contestants come as to regards whether people like them or not.

i know you only deal in "facts" jeref so can i ask how a poll with less than 3000 votes for 4th impact means there are "millions of british people" voting for them ?

exactly, I've seen the poll and the votes gathered are only below 6k. and the poll is not exclusively british.. seeing the comments, there are a lot of filipinos involve in the poll. So we can't truly say that the phenomenon they are experiencing in social media such as that poll is by british viewing public.

I guess even kids do love them..Some even posts their videos mimicking the group at x-factor. Those kids might be bragging their mums and dads about 4th Impact.

My answer on your topic is: I am not british so it doesn't matter.

I think OP has a legit question.

But my answer is, there are British people (Born, Migrant or whatever in between) who like/love 4th Impact.

Of course not, but its a rough guide as to how people are thinking.

Well I am British and I like them. They are slick, professional and entertaining. (I was struck last Saturday how amateurish a lot of the acts are and asked myself do we not deserve better entertainment on primetime TV? )

the whole point of a talent show is its actually meant to be amateurs looking for a break not established professionals

and the "slick, professional and entertaining" is just an opinion btw , personally i found them quite annoying

That's my point though, is watching amatuers suitable entertainment for primetime TV when one could watch karaoke down the pub? You made me smile, of course it's my opinion, that is what forums are for (if you are looking for ultimate truth you won't find it in words!)

They dont do the kind of music that i would buy as i am not into groups, but i do think that they are the best group that i have seen on the show, and are certainly better vocally than both LM and 1D, in my opinion.

you made a statement that "they are slick, professional and entertaining" not that you find them so

as far as whether watching amateurs is suitable entertainment i would say the fact that ratings were considerably higher when we did have genuine amateurs rather than semi-professional cabaret acts gives a good idea of the answer to that question

They are rubbish and telly mix poll does not give a accurate reflection of their popularity - hence last year Fleur was up and down on that poll as was Lauren/Andrea and they finished 2nd 3rd 4th!

I don't doubt they're popular but I wouldn't say millions I expect their fans are mainly overseas!

I think that this series has been orchestrated for them to win, they'll get the "entertainment" vote for dancing around the stage, they'll be called "great vocalists" for shouting out a few notes, and any of the acts that I consider to be technically better than 4th Impact are too niche and controversial in their personalities to ever stand a chance against them.

And I also think GBP is over rated... for example 1D phenomenon it started in US... I still remember when they appeared on Disney channel their girl teen followers increased in biblical scale... but they only finished 5th...
GBP rarely get the real talent... they like ben and sam for example both got lifeless personality.

Hilarious gbp rarely get talent - Leona, Alexandra Burke, little mix, James Arthur, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, Sam smith, ed sheeran! Adele - think we have a phone book of people who come from England smashing America!

4th impact can not compete with that line up! I feel they have lifeless personalities and completely immature and weird considering their ages

haha Im British and I like them, I like acts mostly based on if they have a good voice and can sing anything

Like last year I loved Andrea cos he had an amazing voice

and wasn't so keen on Fleur cos I felt her voice was weak

not bothered where they come from

Am in agreement with this. The GBP rarely like anything that is remotely different on these tyypes of shows which is why the winners of the last couple of years have won. I doubt if things will ever change unfortunately.

I just love ignoring morrons...

And for the record... Adele and co is not product of xfactor or any GBP voting program... out of the winners only Leona penetrated the global market - briefly. Even Subo is just a runner up... thnks to GBP.
