The UK appreciates talent a lot more than the US does that's for sure.

The first audition was phenomenal, but I thought they went downhill after that one.

And I dislike that they are not from the UK. Fed up of these overseas acts who could enter the show in their own country, but come on ours because the UK is wonderful.

*rolls eyes*

It has turned from a UK talent show into a worldwide talent show. With 100k so called applicants you would have thought they could find a few hundred to choose from without having to go abroad. I listen to Solar radio where there are many british acts played every day that are better than those on +XF.

I just love ignoring morrons...

And for the record... Adele and co is not product of xfactor or any GBP voting program... out of the winners only Leona penetrated the global market - briefly. Even Subo is just a runner up... thnks to GBP.
You're the only Morron here with your ignorant comments!

I just misunderstood your post! However just coz someone doesn't win doesn't mean they don't have talent or go onto do things like take olly murs and one d for instance.

Being a runner up isn't bad at all

You are right Eva. Ella finished 5th, and has gone on to do well.

I'm British and I think they are great.

Don't know what everyone is worrying about though. Even if the entire nation of the Phillipines votes on that app, they still won't be able to outvote the combined might of the British power voting Grannies voting for their traditional favourites like Max, Anton or Che. 4th Impact will be long going by the final so everyone can relax.

Lol exactly... real talents never win... and GBP still thinks their opinion matters a lot.

Louisa for the win tho with proper proper guidance.

Ella Henderson I think is a one off, she has done so well, I don't think it will happen again though finishing that early in the comp and going onto be that successful

I'm British and I think 4th Impact are ok (but just ok), and I *don't care* about their ethnicity

I don't know how far they will get in the competition, but I don't think they are going to win because I don't think they are versatile enough

Give them a mostly shouty / attitude / rappy (although I think their rap is meh) song that they dance about to and they shine (as they did in their first audition), but anything with a slow section where they have to try and convey a bit emotion just highlights their limitations

If you're talking only about winners, Little Mix are doing pretty well in the States. They show their music video every morning on (American) MTV.

They barely enter UK top 20 let alone US chart.

They are rubbish and telly mix poll does not give a accurate reflection of their popularity - hence last year Fleur was up and down on that poll as was Lauren/Andrea and they finished 2nd 3rd 4th!

I don't doubt they're popular but I wouldn't say millions I expect their fans are mainly overseas!
you're right. I assume they only got less tha 100 pure british people liking them. the rest is from the outer space.

Irish and I love 4th Impact. They were like a visiting guest act during their performance last week. A real step up from the amateur parade.

The population of the Philippines is over 98m compared to the UK's 64m!

As does every person I work with who watches the show. None of them have had a bad word to say about them!

Olly Murs and 1D aren't great advertisements of talented people that didn't win considering neither act could hold a note.

I rarely agree with the winners on these shows but The X Factor does seem to take out it's most interesting acts around the 10th to 5th place mark on average, and 3rd place being the highest place for an interesting act if you're lucky, so admittedly I do think that there's a problem with the general public that vote on this show for me.

is it really possible that the overseas vote using the app will dominantly take over those of the british viewing public?

i dont think so
