Your Fire TV stick will do ITV very shortly. ITV Player recently arrived on the Fire TV Box, and they stated at the time it will be on the stick a few weeks later. We are still waiting. I suspect that they will hold back until the brand new ITV Hub is launched which is scheduled for later this month, then it should also include live content.
All 4 are keeping mum about any expansion plans, and they have been quiet for a while. But since they are the last to arrive on the Fire TV, then there is more pressure for them to do it.
From my understanding (and this is not confirmed, just from bits I have put together), All 4 are concentrating on upgrading their platforms to really be All 4 (at the moment, most are 4oD just rebranded), and the Fire TV will be part of this - but it could take a bit of time.
The Fire TV is your best bet, as Prime is unlikely to arrive on any competing devices in the near future. And right now, the Fire TV has everything but All 4 (They even have UKTV Play!)
As a backup, you could grab yourself a Now TV box which only costs £15, as a backup and then sell it on afterwards.
Now TV doesn't offer the terrestrial channels at all. It provides live and on-demand for a selection of Sky channels (about 13) plus the 7 movie channels in a separate package. It is great value to be honest. They also do a Sports pass as well, and that is all of Sky's Sports Channels, but none of the extras. The Entertainment pass offers catch-up on their own shows, which can be 30 days or longer depending on their licenses. In many cases it includes entire box sets, including earlier seasons as well as the latest.
Now TV unfortunately are not yet on the Fire TV stick, so having that Now TV box will be a good idea.
So, get both, the stick and the box. You won't notice any build-up as they are both small, but you will have to switch between them on occasions.
