Just been to www.oddschecker.com and it looks like odds of Helen and kellie are shortening of going wheras odds of jamelia and Jeremy are on the drift of going.

I agree on Peter. He's not the worst dancer there but he's not as good as I think the judges try to make out. He's better than Jamelia, Jeremy and Carol (and sometimes Katie) but I think the others are usually always better. But I get the impression (excluding Carol, Jeremy and Jamelia) if Peter was in the dance off with anyone else other than Jay, the judges would save Peter even if he wasn't the better dancer

The BBC are so OCD with ratings that they feel if Peter goes that it'll die.

OK get guessin' y'all!

For your ref:
Anita and Gleb are Jiving to ‘The Boy Does Nothing’ by former Strictly winner Alesha Dixon.
Carol and Pasha dance the American Smooth to ‘Man! I feel Like a Woman’ by Shania Twain.
Georgia and Giovanni dance the Samba to ‘Volare’ by The Gipsy Kings.
Helen and Aljaz will Rumba to ‘Hello” by Adele.
Jamelia and Tristan perform the Viennese Waltz to ‘Trouble’ by Ray LaMontagne.
Jay and Aliona perform the Argentine Tango to ‘Diferente’ by The Gotan Project.
Jeremy and Karen are dancing the Tango to ’Go West’ by The Pet Shop Boys.
Katie and Anton will Quickstep to ‘42nd Street’ from the musical 42nd Street.
Kellie and Kevin are going to Waltz to ‘Love Ain’t Here Anymore’ by Take That.
Peter and Janette will Charleston to ‘Do your Thing’ by Basement Jaxx.”

Ah, glad I found this thread at last. Took ages to log in.

Right, here goes

Top : Jay and Aliona ( despite the bruises )
Bottom : Jeremy and Karen will just snatch this from Carol I think
DO Georgia V Jamelia with Jamelia finally departing the floor

This is a very unpredictable series I think

I'd be surprised if Jay was top, AT going to need lots of passion, not sure he can do it yet, never mind the steps but then I didnt think Jay's jive was going to be any good

going for

Top - Peter and Janette/ Georgia and Giovanni
Bottom - Jeremy and Karen/Carol and Pasha

B2 - Jamelia? and I've no idea, this could be the week we find out who isnt popular in the public voting

Won't mean much though (possibly) .. we've seen eventual winners in bottom two around about now. Give their fans a shake up though.

WOW so many have Jeremy bottom of the table

Looking at the training videos Jeremy's Tango is looking good, he's looking much better than Carol (she still hasn't sorted out her arms).
One thing I can say about Jeremy, his timing is very good

I maybe bias but I am really loving Jeremy ♥

I think this could be Anita's breakthrough week too

I'm really loving Jeremy too, and agree he's pulling away from Carol, I just cant see anyone else next to Carol at the bottom, I'd be dead chuffed if there was

Georgia does seem to be splitting our opinions this week re popularity with the viewers and how her dance will both be danced and perceived

I just think that Jeremy and Carol ( and Katie ) have too much public support to end up in the bottom two....
so of the remaining six good dancers, I think it will be Georgia who ends up in the DO, because of less support

However, if she ends up with Jamelia - then she has no worries, she will be kept in

Hi Holly. I really did respect her heartfelt comment when in the B2 though last week. Not a fan really but much prefer her to Kirsty. I can see this as the B2 too

I think Georgia is more popular than Helen and Peter. I really can't work out whether Kellie has a lot of support or not - I'd quite like to see her in the bottom half to see what would happen. As for the rest of them, Georgia's obviously more popular than Jamelia (they all are ), and as the competition goes on, Carol and Jeremy will lose more and more support, as we see every year, so Georgia's not in the worst spot ever, but she definitely needs some luck on her side.

I just don't think - this week - she can't compete with Peter's Charleston, or Kellie's Waltz... and Jay and Helen will be Jay and Helen... and Anita and Katie are (probably) lapping up the public support...

It just seems she's going to be middle of the leaderboard this week, and I'm not sure whether the public are ready to give up either Jeremy or Carol just yet... which puts her in big danger.

Being in the bottom two isn't particularly a bad thing, anyway (as long as you survive, obviously). Abbey and Caroline have both gone onto win. I just think, much like Abbey and Caroline in their bottom two weeks, Georgia will be drowned out with her Samba in all the hysteria for the more 'pleasing' dances. Who knows, though? Kellie's Waltz may come over as dull, and she might be the one to be forgotten, or one of them could majorly mess up, giving Georgia a better place on the leaderboard.

I just hope that if Georgia does end up in the bottom two, it's with one of Jeremy/Carol/Jamelia. I'd hate to lose my favourite so early on (can all three really survive the dance off this week? It's highly unlikely, right?)

Edit: I don't think she isn't capable of a decent Samba, by the way, I do... I just think the others have better dances this week, and by default, she'll get lost in it all.

I think the truth is we don't have a clue who is getting a strong vote except Carol and Jeremy, and that Jamelia probably isn't. Georgia's got a lot going for her: she's getting better, Giovanni's getting more popular, she's very pretty, there are loads and loads of stories in the tabloids of what she's wearing in training, which suggests they think people are interested in her, and she was very sweet in her response to doing well with the tango. I'd have thought she's on the up personally. I have no idea how everyone's doing, but I don't think there is any reason to suppose she's less popular than the others.

I think its interesting that so many people think Georgia could be in the dance-off this weekend. I think the problem here is that most couples have something going for them, this week and/or in general:

Jeremy - very likeable, also gets sympathy votes due to poor scores
Carol - big fanbase, also gets sympathy votes
Katie - Anton is mega popular and again sympathy votes may boost her
Jay - VERY well liked and actually brilliant
Helen - Very popular current song, good dancer & Aljaz is well liked
Anita - Seems the chosen 'underdog' for those who hate prior training, Gleb factor
Kellie - Kevin from Grimsby fanbase, possible Eastenders fanbase
Peter - Crowd pleasing dance this week, fanbase strength is a bit of an unknown?

All that just leaves poor Jamelia and then Georgia - she is very good and getting better, I'd hope that would be enough, but it might not be.

My ideal scenario would be a Carol V Peter dance-off. I want Carol out as she's terrible, but wouldn't want to risk one of my favourites just in case they messed up. Having Jamelia in the bottom 2 and survive yet again seems cruel, so Peter can be the sacrificial lamb... and if by some miracle Carol put him out I'd probably get over it in all of 2 minutes!

I agree with all of that, I'd also add Anita gets votes from those who can see she is unfairly scored by the judges and deserves higher?

I think this is an unfair analysis for both Katie and Anita.

I think Anita is enormously likeable and down-to-earth, I suppose is a good term...and is generally quite an endearing character. Combine that with delivering a level of dance that barely anyone was expecting of her I'd imagine is a large factor in her getting votes.

As for Katie, I don't think she's quite as likeable as Anita, but she's still a nice woman. Also, despite some questionable latins (not as bad as made out by judges though), she's produced some fabulous ballroom routines (particularly that tango!).

Putting down their successes in the competition to being an "underdog" or "having a popular pro" is unfair, I think.

Exactly. The last three series, Kimberley Walsh, Abbey Clancey and Caroline Flack were all in the Bottom Two Week 6/7 despite being high up the leaderboard (Kimbeley and Abbey were 2nd, Caroline was 4th), all three got to the Final, Abbey and Caroline won and Kimberley was runner-up.

I probably worded that badly... of course I'm sure not everyone is voting for the reasons I put. I was just suggesting why Georgia might be considered a candidate for the bottom 2 rather than the others.
