If the theme is Rock week?

It's just a bit of fun until we find out what the theme actually is, so what would you have them sing if it turns out that it was Rock week?

Che Chesterman - https://youtu.be/54BCLYNkFKg
Mason Noise - https://youtu.be/nIjVuRTm-dc
Seann Miley Moore - https://youtu.be/8hOgRsOTJWc
Kiera Weathers - https://youtu.be/0G3_kG5FFfQ
Lauren Murray - https://youtu.be/RvnkAtWcKYg
Louisa Johnson - https://youtu.be/26EP0ght2kI
Monica Michael - https://youtu.be/i1y0y1EDcHM
4th Impact - https://youtu.be/cwLRQn61oUY
Reggie n Bollie - https://youtu.be/aENX1Sf3fgQ
Anton Stephans - https://youtu.be/GRz4FY0ZcwI
Max Stone - https://youtu.be/HtNS1afUOnE

I know that not all of them are proper Rock songs, but I'm sure that The X Factor would let them slide.

hmmm not sure if che can handle the big parts of dream on from what i have seen of him

a demi lovato song is really stretching a rock theme

if anyone does a one republic song i would expect it to be "apologise" , i could see max doing a similar acoustic version of it that pixie lott did

I could imagine Che singing The Show Must Go On by Queen - is that classed as a rock ballad

Or maybe Seann could do it - it's quite theatrical.

In fact couldn't Seann do Bohemian Rhapsody - I'm sure someone on American Idol did that, or maybe it was XF US.

We were robbed of Bupsi doing rock week

Fleetwood Mac - you are talking about authentic creative musicians, different league from XF.

You are correct but i can never understand why authentic creative musicians have never been encouraged by X Factor, surely it would have given the show some credibility but all Cowell has ever been interested is shallow disposable acts with no creative ability of their own, it's little wonder the show is looked upon as a joke by true musicians.

Cowell sees himself as an idol maker and a hit maker. His model is really quite old-fashioned: it is unearthing artists whom he thinks are marketable and are controllable; give them access to some of the hit making producers and give them an album or two. If they aren't immediately successful then they don't get sticking around for long. This has always been an accepted way of producing pop artists but clearly it is not the only way.

This approach encourages too many wanna be artists who just want to live the dream rather than do the hard slog of the gig circuit and trying to get a recording contract.
It also leads to a singles chart where so many of the hit singles are produced by the same producers.

Sadly it seems to encourage wannabes to by-pass the hard graft of gigging in some crappy pubs, writing your own material, learning to play a instrument then the financial drain it takes on getting your music out there and the inevitable knocks along the way.All the ""One big song could change my life" bollocks used by both contestant and Cowell is so annoying, there is no short cuts and there's no substitute to hard work and earning your stripes.

Louisa would 100% have to sing Fighter by Christina Aguilera. I'd love hear Lauren do Nothing Else Matters by Metallica as well, and Joey by Concrete Blonde for Kiera.
