She really would've been. but really it didn't even have to have been a name in the Sax world, just any session musician! Literally you would not believe the amount of amazing sax players out there that would give their right arm to be on a record like this!

It's a shame, it's actually not a bad single overall but the 'brass' sounds very fake. It would have sounded much better with a real brass section or even just a couple of real trumpets layered over the top to give it a bit more character in the top end. As it is it reminds me more of Human League's Fascination synth horns than the JBs or Maceo & The Macks.
I'm also not sure how well it really sells Fleur as an individual 'artist' though. I could just as easily imagine this being a Little Mix single.”
That's the issue I have with SYCO, there's ultimately no love for the craft. I just find the fact that they allowed a song with the hook 'Play that sax' without any saxophone actually on the song to be released completely inexcusable. They were probably too busy writing the innuendos and thinking how clever they were!! Because sax sounds a bit like sex! Wow SYCO, you're the first people ever to spot that.
They obviously wanted an Uptown Funk feel but that had real instruments, they've really made an error cutting that corner.
