Hi all, I think someone else usually posts this thread, but I hadn't noticed it up yet. Hope it's ok I post this.

Just coming on here to post this but you beat me to it Nina. All looking quite good - but I've only watched it once.

Based on that clip alone, Georgia and Giovanni look pretty good.

In fairness to the others though, their clips didn't include as much dancing.

I'm expecting Helen and Jay to do well!

And apologies, I'm not sure if there's a forum protocol for who posts what Just saw it missing and thought I'd post (Sorry if that sounds sarcastic, isn't meant to!)

They do....but do you think Georgia knows what coo ca means? It seems to cover most moves

I love having the training with sounds. Giovanni has all his own sounds I laughed out loud at coo caa, but even funnier when Georgia was doing it too.

Everyone else does ya-pa-pa or Bom-bom-Bom

Lol, yes, interesting noises coming from Giovanni. Seems to be working though

Perhaps it's a secret language to bridge the gap between English and Italian?

Thanks

I don't know whether it's someone else who usually posts it, I think it's just whoever happens to see it first as far as I know.

The producers know what they're doing with some of these clips edits 😑😑😑

thanks Nina, much appreciated.

You can see how much everyone has improved. From the clips looks like it might be Peter and Georgia top of the leaderboard

Carol has still not sorted out her arms, come on Carol!!!!!

I'm now starting to see some technique in Jeremy- he looks like he's got lovely shoulders

It's always like that, the ones you think, "Oooohh, fabulous" won't live it up to the hype; the ones who are shown struggling with the dance will smash it on the night. We've seen it last week with Georgia absolutely hating the Tango and then, voila, it was excellent!

Edit: I'm not jinxing anyone, I especially want Georgia to do well!

Yeah, you're right, I try not to be naive and buy too much into these clips.

It is obviously nice to see some extra training footage though

Once again I am impressed with Jeremy, especially his footwork, looks like he's been working on his shoulders too

I am hoping Craig will increase his score again this week

I think everyone is looking really good. Well, Carol looks a bit wobbly, sorry Carol - but she might be marking it. Otherwise, looks like it's going to be an incredible show.

I perceive no difference in Carol's dance skills/ability. Jamelia looks wobbly and uncertain. Jeremy's frame is not too bad but his bottom sticks out a bit and his legs look too long for him - but I love him. Have no sense of Helen or Jay from that brief clip. Anita looks like she's practising basics. Georgia and Kellie look quite good. Peter has some swivel but will the dance be 'different' in the way the judges asked last week?

Never thought I'd say this ......but ......Peter looks good

Georgia looking great too

Hope Aliona stops that "high knee" thing Jay is doing, looks awful

Helen looks stiff and off balance.

Jamelia, Jeremy and Carole look like Jamelia, Jeremy and Carole

Katie, Kellie and Anita, not too sure yet, mid table danger zone?

Looking forward to Saturday and hope all my concerns are proven groundless

Tend to agree with this. In particular Carol doesn't look at all bad to me in hold. Out of hold, more of a problem. I also agree that Jeremy's frame is reasonably good, especially considering the very awkward height difference.

Katie's lock steps look very bad for a relatively easy step. I can only hope that was a very early training clip.

I agree about Anita, Helen, Jay, Georgia and Kellie.

Hmmm...not sure Peter looks sufficiently different, but it is maybe not the best dance for demonstrating that he has taken on the judges' feedback. May have to wait for a ballroom or latin.

Well everyone looks pretty good there .For mid week training anyway .
I do love the training vids but as someone else said , they can be very misleading . Being edited clips we are only seeing what the ptb want us to see . In that regard the vids are getting into BB territory , where we are being misled slightly on which dancers are shining in training and which ones are struggling .
I'm really looking forward to this week and I think everyone will do really well re scores .
