Middle aged now, so I stick to dark straight leg jeans. Trying to avoid dad jeans.
Not sure if I'm middle aged or old, but I've only warn 501s since the laundrette ads back in the day. Either black or dark blue.

Very dark straight cut. No flares, bleached streaks, and no cuts and rips.

Slim fit. I'm surprised how many say boot cut. Must be older posters. I stopped wearing them 7 or 8 years ago. Just hope to god that flares don't come back.
I prefer black but trying to find proper black denim jeans is strangely difficult. They are generally more of a chino material. Whatever happened to hard wearing denim that lasted years?

Memo to jeans manufacturers: STOP PISSING AROUND WITH THE CUT OF YOUR JEANS!!! I've lost count of how often I've found a pair of jeans that I like, only to go back for another pair and find that they've changed the design. This goes for chino manufacturers as well.

BTW, anyone about to say "you should buy more than one pair" - haud yer wheesht.

Skinny or slim fit, as long as they are properly slim fit. Some slim fit jeans are too loose.

I have a range, high waisted super skinny, skinny, bootcut and straight. If I'm having a fat day the high waisted bootcut are good, if it's a skinny day then super skinny. Depends on the occasion and what else I'm wearing.

Skinny jeans, usually from Primark, I can't afford designer brands and not sure if they are very much different.

I remember the first time I got in to a pair of skinny jeans, that was actually the best I felt after losing a load of weight. Put some of that weight back on now so I don't even try so I'm sticking with the usual, dno what they are called, prefer my joggers.

Boot cut or Skinny, it depends what I am doing, wearing on my top half and what shoes I want to wear that day.

Not the jeans, just the chaps.
When I googled leather chaps I think I saw your pictures. Do you not feel the wind in unwanted places dressed like that.

Skinny for me, I've been wearing them for years and don't intend to change. I'm very slim so they go with my body shape. Dark blue for around the house and every day wear and black paired with my cuban heeled Chelsea boots for going out in the evening.

Bootcut. I hate trousers that taper at the ankles. They make my feet look too big (size 9, for those interested)

Given the price Primark jeans are actually pretty good quality. I've got a few pairs and the denim feels no different to those at Topman, UniQlo and a few other more expensive high street shops.

I wear the cheap style

Mine are stretch, skinny (to wear with boots), essentially jeggings (I hate that word) - 98% cotton with some stretch in, thick denim not legging material.

I never understood why it would - denim is just cotton, they are essentially hard-wearing material used in working clothes. "Initially, jeans were simply sturdy trousers worn by factory workers"

"Jeans became popular in the United States when Levi Strauss & Co.'s introduced blue jean overalls in 1873." Their first product was dungarees.

The only issue I have with Primark stuff is that none of it ever fits well. I like all my clothes to be very fitted.

Yeah, I find I have problems with the fit of a lot of Primark clothing, but the skinny jeans seem to fit me fine. They do tend to cut quite small on their clothes though - suspect this is to cut down on costs, using less fabric.

Depends, skinny jeans with boots or heels and boyfreind type jeans (low on hip baggier) with flats at weekend.

Intigued why the top of the OPs shoes are so important?

I hardly wear jeans, i think the only pair i have are 'normal' style? I'm not sure what boot cut means?

I'm just glad you don't wear those denim shorts where the pockets are longer than the actual shorts.

Regular fit dark jeans.

Skinny jeans look stupid on a man.
