Pretty much. It'll be a 2 1/2 hour John Lewis advert

What a shame I'm out on Saturday

So we've had "This is me" and "Reinvention".

So happy to have new themes.

I'm liking these new and broad themes.

Maybe a "Something New" theme next which gets the contestants showing us a different side to them, their voice and performance.

GREAT theme. Actually very impressed with it. Hopefully the song choices will be as equally creative. For those suggesting the David Cook version of Billie Jean for Louisa, if she did sing its not exactly made her own, just a cover of a less well known arrangement.

Well to quote louisa she stated on Xtra Factor that it is really 'different' and that this week is going to be completely different from last week as she is going to be having backing dancers. Then when Melvin stated if she can 'bust some moves' her responce was very coy when she said 'I might be able to'.

TBH i think this rules out the whole David Cook and she is going Uptempo this week.

This is basically the same theme as last week except they'll all sing older songs. 'This is me' was a disappointment, I assumed it meant they would get to pick their own songs and show off their preferred style but we didn't get that. I don't find these new themes exciting.

David Cook's Billie Jean (as originated by Chris Cornell) is epic - it's when I knew he was going to walk that season of American Idol! However, that particular version is very rock-based, not sure if Louisa can pull that one off. If they go uptempo, it will be very interesting to see what they do with it - she can't go too 'Michael' with it - that would just be a horrible mistake! I'd say that this song suits the downshift to acoustic, slow tempo - that Civil Wars cover is a great one. It would be a decent choice to go for that, but it depends if people like Lauren and Che (who did uptempo last week) go slow, and so the producers want variation with what people are doing week to week.
